Gizella Hotel and Restaurant

The hotel is directly below the hill of the "old town". It was clean and our room was pretty big. It is also near to nice restaurants and cafes.

It says restaurant but it was not open, and you have to pre-order. This information would have been good before we arrived. Also the breakfast was with very limited options.

I have stayed in this hotel several times. While it is a bit removed from the center, it is quiet and located in a charming area. Thy have been closed for a while and upon reopening they re-opened their restaurant.

The bathroom and particularly the shower was small. The shower spout had only one non adjustable position and the water run above my height.Also, in 4 days there was no housekeeping except taking out the trash and providing towels.There was no place to put a suitcase on but the floor.

Lovely place in a great location. Very quiet and close to many amazing places. The food was very good.

Some Furniture position in the room is strange placed. Example: table behind wooden roof construction, access by little child only..

Good location, beautiful design

Breakfast was embarassing compared to the level of the place. If you do not hurry or get up early in the morning you would easily end up with bread and butter. But anyway the selection and quality of food offered was very week. I felt sorry for those people who just dropped in from the street and had to pay HUF 5k per person for almost nothing.

The air conditioning could not handle the heatwave, and it was 27 degrees in my room with the aircon on full

Breakfast ok. Could do with more choice of cereals. Dinner menu was good. The room was a good size with effective air con. Plenty of storage space.

We were on the 2nd floor and the hot water took some time to come through. A lot of wasted water waiting for it to be hot enough for a shower. The shower tray was totally smooth with no non-slip mat. It was extremely slippery and unsafe.

Great location, in the city center.

Small and dirty room, we were woken at 5 a clock everyday by crying babies because walls have no soundproofing at all. Restaurant closing early, due to a wedding, they forgot to inform us about. TV had only 4 channels, small and bad quality, no HDMI connection. No direct lift access to the room, small windows.

Lack of any bar or restaurant

The place is good, very close to the place we are going to visit. Good breakfast.

Wifi is so weak in my room and my colleague lives close to my room, there is no towels and paper tissue when we check in. I found rubish in the drawer in my room. Very loud, noise control is not good.

Very few staff spoke any English, however they were really nice.

Hotel located in the foot of the castle hill, close to the small river. The train station is 3 km far away, what can be done in 45 minutes walking. Close to the hotel there is 1 restaurant with terrace but you can reach the city center in 10 minutes walking where you can find more restaurants and shops and the monuments. The room was good quiet and comfortable. Wifi good, breakfast good, nice staff.

The room was very good and the WiFi was strong. Also the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

No complaints

The room I had 107 was spacious and with natural light.

The Airconditioning was not working and no provisions were offered. At 33 Celsius and above 50% humidity it was very unpleasant plus windows have no nets so there is a flies infestation if you leave them open.
