Betekints Wellness Hotel

The breakfast buffet offered sufficient variety, but nothing special. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is excellent, calm environment in a creek valley.

From our room, no indoor access to wellness and restaurant area, slightly inconvenient in winter. Bugs in the room, unusual in winter. The wellness area could remain open longer than 8 p.m.

The hotel is near to the castle and also about 15 minutes to the city center by walk. If you go to the other direction you have forests and nature, so you can go hiking.

Poor selection for breakfast, not a 4 star level. Could eat enough, no problem, but no eggs, no bacon, etc. Simple.

Staff are helpful, phantastic, they compensate for the shortages of the hotel. I am the type who likes to walk in into the wellness, where everything is functional. But not here. There were a few guests only, you could palpate sparing attitude. They did not want to heat everything for nobody attending. To the menu: ALWAYS offer Wiener Schnitzel and alikes, not everyone wants to try "phantasy named" foods for disappointment. And fry properly the chicken, until ready...

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant is very good.

No shelf for shampoo, etc. in the shower. Bathroom shelf for toiletries is very small.

No hangers to dry or to just ti hang your wet towels after showering or your swimsuit( it is also a wellness facility btw. and near to lake Balaton.)No place to put the showergel or sampoo in the shower just the floor inside the shower.No place to put toiletries in the bathroom because there is no shelves or a countertop mext to the sink.Although,it is a stylish, but a very poorly designed bathroom, which could be proved upon.

It wasn’t clean, the room smelled bad and like it hasn’t been used for years. Staff wasn’t helpful.

Location in a quiet, green and calm area. Wellness very nice. A/C in the room, adjustable to your own needs. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection.

Beds were squeaking and it was basically two single beds together. Breakfast was every day the same selection. No real juices for breakfast, especially the orange juice replacement was not drinkable. A/C too noisy to let it run through the night.

The staff were very nice and friendly. It was good for a short rest and relaxation trip. There is a small pool and two tubs, but it was pretty much empty when we were there, I wouldn't want to see it when it's really busy. It was relatively close to the city.

It could do with a lick of paint! And only two of the 4 saunas were working.

I'm a frequent visitor to this hotel, I usually like everything.

Very disappointed with the restaurant.The reception said it was open until 10 pm. In the end came at 9 pm and orders are not accepted in the kitchen. As a result, waiter took the order and the food was just disgusting, salted and unpalatable. Apparently the chef was in a hurry to get home.The staff in the restaurant and at breakfast are rude! I haven't seen anything like that in a long time.The coffee machine didn't work at 7 am and at 9.10 am didn't work either.The TV in the room did not work.It is better to sell this restaurant to a normal owner who will take care and that the staff will be polite to the guests.UPD: please don’t take it personal, it’s just my feedback what can be improved. I was there with 2 of my colleagues who asked me to also include this information about the restaurant in their review. They ordered around 21:05 and 21:15Food was not good and my colleagues and I informed your staff about it. You can also understand it when food is almost untouched. :)I am not exactly sure how my friend is related to my feedback. She had paid for the service and breakfast. And feedback above about restaurant and service is not about it.

The stuff was unfriendly ! the girl on the reception with name Dori was very unfriendly , and also when we ask her about the password , she threw a piece of paper on our table, and yes I booked the room for two adults for 3 nights but we decided to take our child 3 years old, the girl at the reception didn’t aloud us to take him free, although the room was with 2 separate beds, and a paid 90 euro more!!! Dori is the worst stuff I had ever met!

Great spa facilities with "swimming"pool, jacuzzi, three saunas and steam cabin. Capacity should be okay for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was rich, with a good selection of food and drinks. Location is perfect, a quiet place in a picturesque valley, but still very close to the old town and the castle, where you find an ample selection of wonderful restaurants (like Elefánt, Chill or Fricska). The Zoo is also nearby. Staff was helpful and kind. Very pleased with our time there, thank you.

Standard room (and the bathroom) are a bit small, but perfectly fine for 2 persons. Nothing else.

Lovely canyon site where you feel like you are awY from it all, but still very close to city center. Restful.

The Hotel seems to be OK. You have everything you need in the room.

DISGUSTING!!!! The bed had hairs!! And some of them didn't look from the head. I don't recommend this place at all.Another guest was complaining about the terrible small of the bathroom. So it seems the hotel doesn't clean the rooms properly.

I really liked that the hotel is in a valley. The spa area is very well equipped. The staff is kind and helpful. There was a very large selection at the breakfast buffet. Dinner was also very delicious. The rooms are very quiet.

Disappointing

I had a room in the guest house. The room stinks, very old fashion, and the refrigirator makes a lot of noise.I expected a modern hotel when I saw the picture on the website.

The first morning, there were very few people for breakfast, so instead of a buffet breakfast a table was laid with fresh pepper, cucumber, tomatoes, salami, cheese, fresh rolls, bread slices, fresh orange juice and coffee made to order etc. which was excellent. Second & third morning there was a buffet breakfast with, unfortunately, juice from a machine, however, the rest was excellent.Because it was not very busy, we had the pool, jacuzzi and sauna almost exclusively to ourselves which was a real luxury. Staff was friendly and put on sauna & steam room especially for us whenever we asked for it.Beds were very comfortable and there is enough surface space in the room to put your things. Plenty of hanging space. Also plenty of chairs.Cleaning service was friendly & efficient.Location of the hotel is nice as it is almost on the walking path next to the Sed-stream. Also there is a large walking area very close to the hotel.
