    Pros +

    • The room having a balcony was nice, though the door didn't latch from the outside so if windy you had to be "locked out" to keep it from banging around.
    • The breakfast had a great selection to chose from. The staff was very courteous.
    • Everything was perfect The room was very spacious and the staff was very friendly, the food was excellent and the live music was brilliant. Highly recommend

    Cons -

    • The pool is a community pool, there are over 100 houses there that all have access to the pool. They give community swimming lessons and everything. If you want to relax and have nice pool time, this is not the hotel for you. Counted 33 kids one evening!!
    • Check in was poor, limited information given having not stayed at the property before. Member of staff on check in desk, literally just gave me the key and told me the room number. No information on facilities, wifi, breakfast, location of restaurants/timings etc. When asked if there was room service available, I was told to use the QR code on the key card sleeve, but when scanned, it took me to a page which said there was an error and no information available. Had to get a menu from the bar, then was charged €10 for room service, member of staff did not speak reasonable english so didn't understand the order. Food arrived cold, and order was incorrect. The staff were more concerned about it being paid for rather than to get the food there whilst warm/hot, so another two visits to the room to arrange payment. I had asked at check in if I could get room service and charge to the room, but then told they couldn't do that after it arrived to the room. Customer service very poor.
    • Very chaotic breakfasts. Staff polite but looked most of them not sure what to do. We had to wait for plates, cups, glassess, no sugar at the table etc. With early breakfast good choice, but when we arrived later on the second day very poor selaction as food wasnt restoked. So we recomend and early breakfast.

Hotel atmosphere was good, well laid out and easy access to rooms. Good parking.

The room was grand, dinner and breakfast on site was excellent! The pool and sauna weren't bad, could use a little update, but totally usable.

I was able to get a good offer, but had to do the plan it myself. I have booked in Sunday stay through booking.com and then a pacage with spa searately with the hotel which enabled me to bring the price down from 780 to 460 for the whole stay with 2xbreakfast and spa for two! I rang the hotel to explain them and ask for a similar offer directly from them but they couldnt do it. So I booked two separate stays thinking I will have to move the rooms but they allowed us to stay in the same one. Excellent Spa.

Great spacious room and very peaceful, enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.

    Nothing, all great

A beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. We had a large bedroom with a king or queen sized bed and a single bed. The bathroom was of a good size with the shower over the bath. It had shampoo and body wash.

The only fault was that we were to receive breakfast bags as we were checking out at 4a.m. The night porter was not to blame as he only discovered that when he was checking us out. He had to go to the kitchen for them.

    Golf course view

No a/c after upgraded Not friendly peopleBriefly Checked out the golf course after had been told that we had to get off by 6 AM because there was so many golfers and we never saw one! Shower floor so narrow & shower head ridiculous

Spacious, free parking. AC in the room.Options for on site meals.

A bit dated, busy with people and families. TV channels very limited.

I would of given this property a 10, but our room was directly over the concert venue. So we had a vibrating loud base playing from 8:30 to 1:00 in the am. We had to leave at 6:30 am so hardly any sleep.

Luxurious hotel. Easy check in; rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't get to use the pool as there were swimming classes on which was surprising on a bank holiday w-end. The food in the restaurant was top standard and service was exceptional. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Decor/carpets a little dated, but everything was clean

    Lovely spa and staff

The outside area is a housing estate which is a little strange :)

Way too expensive for what you get, wouldn't return.

Took over 20 mins to take our order for dinner. Fod is very average and overpriced. Gin and 7up and a pint of beer was over 21 euro.

    Cleanliness

Food in lounge was over priced and not nice also drinks in the lounge weren’t as good of quality as the bar

My room and bed were excellent, i stayed for 2 nights. The 2nd night was the golf Masters and myself and 2 friends sat in the Swift bar to enjoy the golf. The bar staff were excellent

My room was cleaned after day 1 but the sink was blocked and stayed blocked for the 2 days.On the 2nd morning around 9am someone opened my door without knocking while i was in bed, the said sorry and left.I had booked through the Knightsbrook website (re-directed to a 3rd party Booking.com), when i went down for breakfast i was told i would be charged, i paid over 300 euro and expected bed and breakfast. I asked at reception for a bottle of water and was told to go to the bar, i told the girl my room number and she had to charge me €3.50, i queried this back at reception and the very nice lady told my that was incorrect but as i had already paid there was nothing she could do.The 2nd day at breakfast i was confronted by a very rude individual who told me in no uncertain terms that i had not paid for breakfast and he was keeping an eye on me. As a 60 year old man i found this very uncomfortable.

We arrived at the hotel at 11:30pm, as previously advised to reception prior to check-in. After a long journey, we were simply hoping to get a mineral before heading to our room. The reception staff were lovely and welcoming during check-in. However, when we went into the bar to ask for a coke, we were met with a very abrupt and quite rude response from the bar staff. She repeatedly said, “The bar is closed,” even after we explained that we had travelled a long distance and just wanted a coke to take to our room.We returned to reception where our husbands were still checking in, and the gentleman there kindly tried to speak to the bar staff on our behalf—but she still refused to help.We don’t understand why we couldn’t have simply been given the mineral and had it charged to our room. Unfortunately, after a long day of travel, we had to drop our bags in the room and head back out again to find an open petrol station. We found the experience quite disappointing and unhelpful. We also were charged an extra €2 for a latte and an additional charge for a green tea at breakfast. We’ve never experienced this at any other hotel where breakfast is included—it’s always been standard to have these options included as part of the breakfast. We prefer to use the stairs where possible, as we’re not particularly fond of lifts, and we were honestly shocked at how dirty the stairwells were. When you walk up the stairs from reception, the area appears lovely and well-kept, but as soon as you open the door to access the main stairwell, it’s a different story. The area is very run-down, with visible dust and dirt gathered in the corners and along the floors—it was quite off-putting and felt unhygienic.

Staff were supper friend. Room was very spacious, and so clean.

Drink I thought was very expensive, but everything is expensive these days.

    10AnnePosted on: 4-10-2025

very high standards thank you ,from staff to food to comfort its all excellent tho the bar is rather expensive ,over all a good place to stop over

sadly some guests lack the reflection of the hotels first class appearance which is a shame for all the effort put to the grandeur of the place 10/10 merci
