When we arrived only one of our rooms was ready. But the staff was able to get us set up so we could get in and put our 2 year old down for a nap after a long travel day in the car. We were informed that both of our rooms had been complimentary upgraded (which was really nice). The hotel was beautiful. We loved all the different wallpaper, tile, carpets, and decor - it was very nice. The spa and leisure club was a big bonus.
The food options were slightly limited in my opinion and were a tad on the pricey side overall - but the quality was good
Room was exceptional for the price. Breakfast great. Dinner good.
Step over bath for shower not so good for hose who are less able. I wonder if customers should be asked if this will work for them?
There was plenty of variety and the selection was fresh and tasty.
The thermostat in the room could be easier to use. A simple on / off position, a direct temperature setting rather than a minimum maximum adjustment that was quite difficult to set. It took an undue amount of time to finally get the room temperature in the comfort zone.
The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, the cooked breakfast was fresh, tasty and hot. And the tea was piping hot which is not ofter the case when one stays in a hotel..
Room are large and extremely comfortable with black out curtains which was enormously benefited my sleep and jet lag. The grounds are just gorgeous, peaceful and serene nature and the facilities were an extra added bonus that made my stay wonderful. Great breakfast and good restaurants on-sight, I will be back.
sound travels up the hallways so you can hear people walking past and chatting outside your room, wasn't a major deal for me but I did have to put earplugs in one evening.
Large room decent pillows, restaurant onsite. Good location for sightseeing. Good place if you have children.
There for two nights and couldn’t get a booking at the onsite spa. Some of the food wasn’t great on the night we ate, over cooked in the deep fryer, the roast beef on the other hand was excellent.
Breakfast v good Food hot and everything fresh
The noise from the heating all night long
Nice place staff were friendly, nice, and clean we enjoyed our stay it was my girlfriends birthday a small bottle of precco and a card in the room on arrival nice touch ?
There were no bottles of water in the room. we went to the bar after dining in the restaurant, and the seats were very uncomfortable. A few nice comfortable chairs were taken by the locals
I attended a wedding here, food and service were excellent! Room was lovely
Breakfast was a little chaotic, but to be fair it was the morning after the wedding so I think everyone came down at the same time, food was good
Food was plentyfull
Very outdated carpet in places you could see the dirt stains. Also an 11 o clock checkout time was very annoying for 300 euro I didn't think it was value for money since we could not check in until after 3pm.
Very stylish room and main areas. Good breakfast. Lovely smell coming from the SPA, would go again to check this out.
We took advantage of great weather and sat outside, beautiful green space but confusion on the service aspect. Kiosk opens late afternoon, one draft beer option, staff say you can have table service of drinks with the meal although our drinks never arrived.
Very good
I found breakfast very disappointing, as i am not an Irish breakfat ( bacon, egg, sausage etc) person the choice was very limited. I made do with a bowl of fresh fruit and small croissants. Very poor options.
Breakfast was very good. Maybe a few more options
Bit of confusion in the Bar about Bill's. I had already paid for Lunch. Staff were polite and apologised..Maybe consider Food being paid for in advance to avoid embarrassment
The decor was lovely in our room. It was very spacious. The bathroom was very roomy too. It had both a bath and shower in it. Comfy bed. Breakfast next morning was lovely and staff were lovely too. Very happy with our stay!.
Nothing springs to mind!
Rooms very nicely done, smart tv had problems with connection but was resolve service was excellent..very helpful... breakfast could have more options..not everyone likes to eat every morning full irish breakfast.. you can see it's a popular destination for locals and older people..for sure it's worth to stay..
The walk down by the lake was beautiful and luckily we had amazing weather for it, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was some of the nicest food I have ever had. Our waitress was very friendly. Our room was beautiful with a really nice view of the lake. Our massage was amazing and the relaxation room was beautiful and calming. Perfect way to end our stay at Bloomfield ?
Food was excellent, grounds where amazing, wife enjoyed the spa treatments, clean, good atmosphere in bar
Bed was 2 single beds pushed together had a gap between them,
