Run-of-the-mill buffet breakfast with the cheapest ingredients. Interior design flaunts maladroit 80s socialist grandeur.

A bit dated room, especially the bathroom (e.g Water was not flowing down in the shower, and overall it could've use a refurbishing)

The hotel is in a perfect location on Fő ter, steps away from the old town centre, cafés, restaurants etc.The room was functional and had everything that was needed for a short stay.Staff were polite and helpful.

Breakfast was rather basic and items that ran out on the buffet (cheese, salami) were not replenished even with 30 minutes still to go before the buffet closed.Rooms are accessed from a large open atrium, and there is no sound-proofing. One evening a group of guests were having a party, with lots of loud talking and laughter, in the space directly outside my door.

Location of the hotel was superb, directly on the square. Views of square from our room. Private parking very close by at reduced price. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Breakfast included and pretty good with hot and cold items. Restaurant and bar attached to hotel. Wellness center available at additional cost.

Room could be updated, but it was clean and in good condition.

It was 35 degrees Celsius, and no air conditioning. They provided a tiny desktop fan which was about as useful as a fork for a dog. The room smelled and there was no air movement through the window due to the heat. The bathroom had broken tiles, a dirty shower, a broken shower head holder, broken soap dispenser that was put back together with tape, and a built-in ventilator that was so dirty that dirt came out like ash as it was circulating the air. One of the toilet flush buttons was broken, and the toilet paper dispenser gave out TP square by square. The staff never bothered to ask if we had a nice stay, obviously guest satisfaction is not a priority.

The room was small and uncomfortable. The heat was centrally controlled in the hotel and it was not turned on for some time. The bathroom was small and it had none of the usual supplies. The dinner at the hotel was awful. They said it was "buffet style". The selection was minimal. Almost everything that was supposed to be hot food was cold. There was no bread at all. There was no service to speak of. There must have been a mishap (perhaps a fire?) in the kitchen. The restaurant smelled as if rubber had been burned for a while. Even if the dinner were inexpensive, which it was not, the quality and service were well below reasonable expectations.

Great hotel location. Although the hotel's decor is old, it created a good mood (interesting lobby).

Friendly and kind staff, nice wellness, lot of saunas although without cold pool, just shower. Comfy beds, nice view, close to the centre.

Hotel Irottko offers great value for the price. It is a little run down, but very clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities necessary in the room. The wellness area is surprisingly well equipped and not crowded. Breakfast was also good - nothing fancy, but tasty.

Hotel Írottkő is the only hotel in Kőszeg that is close to the city center and has a wellness department. That's the end of its benefits.

The building has not changed since the eighties. Cleanliness is not the facility's forte. The breakfast is fair, but there is no dessert. The staff is nice, except for the reception lady of the wellness department, who is noticeably disturbed by the guests.

This hotel is excellent. Very clean, perfect location and exceptional breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very elegant place. It is located at the city old town.

Location is superb. Shower works very well.

This hotel has a huge potential, given its prime location and very spacious public space like reception area. It looks rather desolate. Wifi should be improved. TV channels were very limited.

Walls are super thin (like paper-thin), so you can heard everything from your “neighbors”. They should improve soundproofing.
