Everything was great ¿¿¿¿¿¿

I came here for just one night and had an absolutely amazing stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. They gave me fantastic recommendations for everything worth in the area. The bed was very comfortable, and the entire room, including the bathroom was spotless down to the last detail! The hotel’s location is right in the heart of everything so you can start your piste adventure right away, yet peaceful enough for a perfect night’s sleep.

Good location. Breakfast was great. Generous sized room with balcony and comfy beds.

Understand there’s a rule regarding ski boots not to be worn inside the hotel but to be made to take our ski boots out of our suitcase in reception and leave them outside the main door whilst checking in seemed excessive and unnecessary at that particular time.

Excellent breakfast, everything worked easily, friendly personnel and good beds. Queit during night.

Location is perfect for ski trip. Very well kept and maintained. Excellent staff make a real effort to make it a very positive stay.

Only slight downside was noise proofing, could hear noise from corridor easily, but was only really a minor issue once during stay when a group were a little load coming back from apres, but aside from that not a problem.

It was clean

It was basic, the room and bathrooms were dated. The beds aren’t comfortable and linen was rough. The bathroom very dated.

At over a 1000 Euros for 4 nights I view this as poor value.

Location disappointment, wanted to be walking distance to Hinterglemm, had to get 10 min bus ride to Hinterglemm.The cooked breakfast was poor quality, scrambled eggs overcooked and bacon very oily / greasy.The room was narrow and long, television much too small and the balcony was shared with another room and therefore lacked privacy. The room cleaning was not adequate, floor not cleaned and used drinking cups not replaced.I was asked to check out by 10am., and if any later would be an extra charge of 50 Euros.

Great location. Perfect for the town centre bars and restaurants and for access to the ski slopes. Nice bar and restaurant and really helpful, friendly staff

Great location within a walking distance to the centre of the city and to the ski lifts. Rooms are big enough and breakfast has many options to choose from.Staff was really nice and supportive and the restaurant is good as well of you decide to take a dinner at a hotel.Parking is located 150 m up the street.

Perhaps the hotel could explain online more about how to get to the location when traveling by train, we thought we would arrive directly at the town. But, we were about 20 minutes away, with no assistance where we arrived, and no taxis. We were luck that another traveler was in the same situation and she explained that we could take a bus to Saalbach.

We loved our stay at the hotel - very accommodating staff and a very central location to all the skiing facilities and apres ski bars.

Excellent location in the village within 100-200m of ski lifts, excellent breakfast, modern clean rooms, complimentary afternoon cakes and pastries

A self-service user pays laundry facility would enhance the stay. We had to drive 30min to Zell am See to use another hotel’s laundry service.

it is clean excellent location. It was comfortable and the reception is very friendly and cooperative and responsive. I requested a kettle and they gave me one right a way.

I wish there was a refrigerator. The parking is little walk away from the hotel.

Room was a bit sterile. The sauna was broken. The breakfast was quite average.

Unlike typical Austrian villages Saalbach has adopted to international tourism. Unusual to us as native Austrians the staff didn’t speak German but dutch and fluently english. Rooms are tidy and clean. Hosts are very relaxed, professional and you can ask them for any advice.

Furnishing kept in red might not be everybody’s favorite and seems like a little leftover from an earlier decade.
