Stadthotel Restaurant Auerhahn

I booked one suite to stay with my wife & daughter but when we arrived at hotel they said there are two rooms available and in fact thy force me to accept that as there was no option .can you imaging going to holidays with family separately !

Hotel staff is very friendly. Location of the hotel is in the central of the city.Room size is very large.Staff also provide snack to my children.

Right in the city center. (It's a very small town)

The staff got into the room many times (4 times in 2 days) during the whole staying without knocking the door nor previous notice. This was a bit uncomfortable.

no bike storage, but they let me leave it insight of reception so that was nice.

It was hot, AC didn’t cool the room properly. And people were smoking in the terace. So with open windows no go.

The breakfast was absolutely worth it! It was so good and starts from 5am! The beds were nice and comfortable.Very nice location in the city centre. We were able to park our car in the small parking next to the guesthouse.It was easy to reach both lakes for about 15min each - Attersee and Traunsee. Hallstatt is an hour away with a car and was also easy to reach.

We had two rooms in the guesthouse - one for me and my husband, and another one for my brother. The bathroom floors were dirty in both rooms when we checked in.The drain in one of the rooms tubs was clogged and was not fixed after a complain.

know the place since long, good restaurant, quiet despite being in the middle of town

The hotel is located in the middle of historical part of the city. It is a great place to stay. The old building has its own history and soul which you can feel easily. In addition, the restaurant on the ground floor is usually full of local visitors, full of live and serves quite good menu, being a mix of local cousine but also including freshly made pizza. You feel the hotel and restaurant are family business in all positive terms of such form. The staff is very friendy, supportive and helpful. Car parking is on the back of the hotel therefore do not use navigation to the front door to get to the parking. There is a backdoor entrance stright from the car park place. The hotel also offers good breakfast in the morning. We stayed there while travelling across Austria and our selection confirmed it is good sometime to leave the main highway and drive relatively short distance to find such a nice place to stay.

A nice little hotel on the town's main street; a fifteen-minute walk away from the train station, which in turn has good connections to Salzburg and Salzkammergut. My room was clean, warm (in late December), and cosy. The in-house restaurant is also great.

The room was very plain and could use some small furnishing. I think there wasn't a waste bin in the room, and only one or two power outlets.

The hotel is in a pedestrian zone. Very comfy. The staff was excellent. They've offered a parking service, as I've arrived in the middle of the night.

The price of the breakfast was a little bit too high for my taste. At least I was expecting something more for those money.

Very centrally located. Spacious and clean room. Good restaurant is part of the hotel. Enough free places at the free parking slot just behind the hotel. Very fast check-in and check-out.

Our bed was incredibly short and the upholstery on the headboard was disintegrating, leaving ugly flakes in the bed.The room was not ready when we arrived in the evening.

Everything about my stay was great. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and had all the facilities needed. The coffee and the food from the restaurant/coffee shop of the hotel were great, always served with a smile, and the staff was very helpful and kind.

Room was large and the bathroom was nice. The room was generally clean and parking whilst limited, was free. Location was as central as you could get, and the front of the hotel looked nice and restaurant seemed busy. Breakfast was nice.

Furniture was outdated and unattractive. The room was in a stairwell and was difficult to find due to a lack of clear signage. At the back of the hotel with noisey morning deliveries.

The furniter is older than me, it was not clean at all.No A/C. You can here persons from nearby rooms.The bathroom is to small, you can not sit on the toalet from the washbeckenThe evelator is not working after 00:00

Boss was very nice.

TV was not working properly.Bath was not so clean

Staff were very friendly, they welcomed us very warm with a welcoming gift. So thankful for them. The room was with the balcony, great view. Nice stay.

Got a small room on the 4th floor, very basic, nothing like the photos show.
