Hotel Burgmeier

A great family run hotel. Clean, friendly, modern and centrally located. They went out of their way to help me with a train reservation problem. It took an hour of their time and they insisted. They know how to treat a guest. They have been running

their hotel for 6 generations.

Pulling in late to Dachau i want expecting to find much in regards to sleeping quarters. A few searches and disappointments and I found this hotel. It was a nice surprise. Quiet location but still near the altstadt. The hotel manager was very polite and had great recommendations for a good dinner. The view out of my window was a park full of trees. I couldn't have asked for better... all in all of it return to Dachau i will stay here. Perfect!!

There was nothing I could complain about

It was in a quiet neighborhood about a 7 minute walk to the Dachau Stadt station. There was parking for people who had a car. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We didn’t care for the pillows, but everyone has their own preference for those types of things.

The City of Altenburg is not as expected. The center was in many cases closed, and very few restaurants in area.

conveniently placed for local amenities and clean with good quality fittings and surroundings. breakfast was traditional but basic.

the experience was marred by the attitude of one female member of staff who on arrival claimed to only have one twin bedded room despite us having booked and paid for two. she thereafter offered for us two have the rooms that we had already paid for at an additional cost of 48 euro. when we disputed this she blamed booking.com. we refused to pay the additional fee and she eventually found a suitable room with a sofa bed. the following morning, the staff (not the same person) couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

I loved the quaint neighborhood surroundings, the proximity to Munich airport, the helpfulness of the staff.

The rooms are modern; pleasant bathroom, everything works

We worked over the weekend and breakfast times were too late for us - commencing at 8am. A lunch pack was not offered. No amenities - just the room and that was it.

Octoberfest. Stayed at the Burgmeier and used the train to Munich. A 5 minute walk to the train. Short 10-15 minute ride to Munich.

Weather was a little disappointing, but still enjoyed the stay and the feat.

Easy walk to Dachau. VERY nice family run place. They were very pleasant and welcoming.

This is a family hotel tucked into a quiet neighborhood (by the train tracks). Enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor terrace. There is plenty of parking.

Would have liked a fan in the room (it was warm that evening)

On my two visits, I have had large comfortable rooms, with plenty of space and cupboards to keep my clothings in. The hotel has plenty of outside space such as the outside seating, the grassed area plus car parking.The staff especially Tony is very kind and attentive, on my trips I had to carry out some work after checking out.

I would like to see an option for koffee and tea in the rooms, but is not a problem.

The property was in nice condition. Clean. We particularly liked the location in a location off the main traffic routes. Although close to a rail line, ithe sound of passing trains was not bothersome.
