Hotel BURGWALD

The area was very nice and the room was large and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good.

Walking my luggage up to the third floor was not a lot of fun.

Great for what we needed - a place to stay overnight before continuing our travel by car. Easy to check in, plenty of space for parking.

We were only told upon our arrival that we had to pay extra for our dog, this was a bit of an unpleasant surprise, would've been nice if it was mentioned somewhere explicitly, so that we'd known beforehand.

Burnt out light-bulb in bathroom. WiFi is temperamental (works for some websites and not for all devices).

It was somewhere to sleep.

There was a pubic hair on the shower handle, the wifi never worked, and there was no tv remote.

Shower was perfect, room is ideal for a 1-night stay.No luxury, or extra's but when you have no need for diner or breakfast, it is an OK place to spend the night.Free parking in front of the hotel

no hotel staff on site, wall sockets not working or need to be repaired, waste bin not emptied.

It was easy to find, all together a nice place it would have been nice to have some food/drink option, maybe a vending machine due to the bar/restaurant being closed.

Room was freezing cold when we arrived, found the heating and it was OK within an hour. Restaurant & reception closed when we arrived but key available, nowhere nearby to eat or buy food that we could find.

Everything was quite good except for the Internet connection; I could not find the WIFI and had to use my mobile phone's data.

I liked the location, was very easy to get there, they are pet friendly and have a free car park . The rooms were clean and was a quiet place

No staff to meet us for check in or any way to contact them. The WiFi didn't work, no on site facilities at all, no bar restaurant, no snack machine nothing.It was like the hotel had closed and just reopened, the room was OK, once a decent standard but needs updating., like they were counting the euros when offering roomdNo bin or fridge in the room, no air con and the TV must of been 20 years old. This was once a quality hotel but needs some updating at times it was like walking through a ghost town, the main building was set up as a bar and restaurant but nothing offered a room. Was all set up for breakfast but no breakfast, a bit odd, with a very slight musty smell, like its not being used. Its a big place and would take a while too sort it all out. When we did find a staff member he was helpful, but we walked around for about 15 mins by then. For the price in this Area OK but next time I'd pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.

I had a reservation, when I arrived at the location the reception was closed.I had to sleep in the car with my family.

The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. Enough parking lots for all guests. Ideal for travellers who take a rest on a long journey.

The room had not been heated for a while and was a trifle chilly. The heating worked fine but could not make up for lost time.

The receptionist on the day we arrived was not pleasant to deal with. We understand she had little to no English but was still beyond ignorant.

I forgot my phone charger in the room and the staff said that in was no there. I am pretty sure that I forgot to unplug it … I was next to the bed. ?

Very well arranged buffet.Hot coffee and teaI waited 10 minutes for bread and gave up.

The pillows in the room were only one per bed.They were very soft and uncomfortable for me,It would be nice if there was at least one extra pillow.The TV was not of good quality and only has 6 channels.
