The hotel is so charming, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was super nice! The walk into Altstadt was easy and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The room was a little warm at first, though it cooled off quickly. Also I’d get a cab to haul luggage from the train to the hotel as the walk is a little steep if you are dragging a bag along.

Breakfast was good but I expected a little more variety for a 4* star hotel. Reception was very helpful for places to go.Hotel was very attractive. We had a 2-level room with a spiral staircase, bedroom was upstairs.

Great breakfast! Loved the spa. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. This place was made for relaxation, with the spa and many places to sit and enjoy being.

Good location and the included breakfast is wonderful.

The hill!

Proximity to autobahn, proximity to city centre (about 15 minutes walk), good sized room, good breakfast.There is paid parking available. Contrary to other comments, it is accessible if you're halfway able to drive a car. The only restriction would be if the car is a very low sports car as the path down to the parking is quite steep. Also there is probably a height restriction, so larger vehicles might not fit. Best to ring and check in advance.

The bed sheets were very loud (very minor).

Fair price, comfortable, clean & good location. We could walk to the centre. It has a nice ambience. The rooms are a little outdated but good. Perfect for our needs. Very nice breakfast. We loved Passau, don’t miss it if you go by all the time. It’s worth the time to spend a night or more here.

Dislikes :Distance from restaurants. Need to have the desk call a taxi. Expense of taxi. Likes: beds, breakfast, appearance of the room and building, comfort, reasonable price.

The breakfast was fine.The location was out of town and top of a sloping hill.

Good location and very comfortable room. Good breakfast and pleasant and helpful staff.Although we didn't use the spa, it looked very nice.

There wasn't an obvious grassy area for dogs to do their business or, if there was, we missed it.

The room was great..everything very clean..receptionists (trainee and another female receptionist) were very nice and friendly.The morning male receptionist was not particularly friendly but ok..

Only 1 thing was that the scrambled eggs in the am were in the bain Marie and gone bit hard/dry on the outside and discoloured (flavour was ok).Sorry but I looove good scrambled eggs..sausages and the rest of the food was delicious..
