StadtHotel Passau

Hotel was clean. Near a public parking lot by the river. Hotel staff (when available) allowed us to store bags until checkin time. Next to roast chicken restaurant, which is also where breakfast (€11) is served.

Room was spartan, pillows were skimpy & tiny. Located near bars with street noise late at night.

Location, hotel within the old town, all walking distance

Stayed for 2 nights. No parking available. You have to park in the public parking, near the hotel , under the bridge. Maximum 10 Hours for 14 Euro. Old building, no elevator. Room is too small with 2 separate old bed. Pay extra for breakfast which is not much to choose from. Coffee machine is available but not self service, i ordered Latte Machiato but it is not hot, i complain but the lady said she can not do anything about it.

Liked the windows and curtains that allowed for a quiet night. In the city center and with free public parking (on Sunday).

Room was not cleaned well, especially the bathroom.Although it's named a triple room, the picture had 4 beds and was recommended for 4 people. However, there were only 3 beds and no room for a fourth one. Arrived too late to complain. Very thin and uncomfortable pillows.

We arrived early, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with our bikes and other needs. He was very accommodating and friendly. Thanks!Hotel is in a great location within Passau.

Basic rooms, but just as described and clean.

Great location directly in the middle of picturesque Passau.

No elevator with two narrow and steep flights of stairs. Door to room didn‘t lock properly. TV didn‘t switch off normally.

Individual beds and the extra bed was lower then the rest. Also getting the key after 22:00 was challenging. Found people on the street with reservations but nobody available to help them . Luckily we called upfront and asked for assistance.

The location was great and the receptionist was polite.

The equipment could be more modern. The lits are quite uncomfortable and curtains are not protecting from the light from the street.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, it had great walk ability to Christmas markets and city center. The restaurant below was excellent for both breakfast and schnitzel

The beds were slightly uncomfortable and the shower was a little small.

The room was big enough for four people, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is located in the center city and close to a big parking, so everything is in walking distance. A great place to stay for a couple of nights.

Everything was according to our expectations, so there is nothing we can add. The only minor inconvenience is that the hotel is not offering parking (which seems actually impossible considering that it is located in a pedestrian area). However, there is a parking near by where guests can leave their car for a fee.

Very friendly staff, great location in the city centre, rooms newly renovated and clean.

The location in the old town was amazing. Lots of great restaurants & shops outside the door. Lovely old building. The staff were friendly & helpful to our requests. It was clean & tidy. Our bicycles were kept in a safe & secure place.

The mattresses could do with an upgrade, just a tad saggy.

Everything great and a minute from the river. The restaurant is great and not expensive even if the menu is a little short the food is outstanding and the service outstanding.

The location was really good. It was close to the train station and in the middle of all the restaurants and shops.

The room was really hot. There was no air conditioning. With the windows open it was extremely noisy from everyone eating out. There was one group outside who partied till well after 2am.The pillows were very thin. In fact they were useless.The breakfast was very ordinary.I would never stay there again.

Great location for a night stop before starting the Danube bike tour. Public parking is available 100 m from the hotel. The city centre is a few steps away. Would reccomend for anyone looking for a night stop in this town.

Overall OK, location OK. Just the beds were too squeaky and uncomfortable and the pillow was sooo thin it was like a duvet.And the blinds also were not enough to cover the brightness.
