Herdegen Rooms - Self Check-in

Location was convenient, room was completely fine for a 1 night stop over. It was a standard room with everything you need for a short stay.

Room was very warm and there was no heat on. Not sure how the room was heated.

Great location, easy to get in with code

TV broken, strange skylight window that is unreachable to close

Good place for overnight, smooth self chek in, clean and good space.

I'm soo disappointed this time, ? last year it was better for the same price even lessEverything so small and dirty, claustrophobic .. shame on you!! For a couple you give to separate beds! I don't have words to describe my disappointment I give one star because you don't care about clients!!

Location was just meters away from the train station and steps away from the mall. Check-in and out i struction were clearly communicated. Honest staff contacted me after check-out when I left my wallet in the room.

No breakfast. You are on your own. But location good near train/bus station and old town.

Room was older and rather small

The check in process was quick and simple.

No parking on site. Tho the room was fairly cheap add 10 euro for parking. The room we got (205) was terrible. No windows, felt like a jail cell. Even tho the listing said " city view " and has windows in the pictures. Also the AC was busted and every hour or so it would make a strange buzzing noise

1) The process of check-in and check-out was as described and without problems.2) Code input to access the hotel during the stay worked each time.

1) At least half of the stay without W-Lan service (although it was already paid for it)2) Half of the stay, TV with distorted image and sound3) A spider in the bed. And something very similar (if not one) to a spiderweb (see photo).4) Some of the soap and shampoo were past their expiration date (see photo).But possible to use them without consequences.5) The accommodation told me I would receive some euros back to compensate for the W-LAN absence. But first I must send accommodation bank account specifications. I did that.One keeps waiting.6) A missing cork of the hole in the bathroom sink. Remark for the review reader: I wrote two reviews corresponding to two different stays.The one with 62 nights (July) is the one for 54 nights (May), and vice versa.

Pluses1) Central location.2) Bike room comfortable. Hotel, permit me totemporarily and leave bundles of paper there. This each week. Hotel permits also thatThese could first be delivered before the main entrance.Pluses with some minuses2) There was no day without towels, shampoo, soap, or toilet paper.Self-service provides towels. For the last three ones,one must sometimes go outside the room andstairs up and down to find the housekeeping personalal. They providesuch items.

Minuses3) Last 4 or 5 days of stay in the room, no W-LAN service (although already paid).What a pity, exactly at the same time that I wasto make a contract online. Without exterior helpthis W-Lan absence could cost me 3000 Euros.4) First or second night there: weird noise from room in front of the oneI occupied5) Sudden strong changes of water temperature during the shower.6) The balcony (floor and ceiling) was not clean. Herdegen Rooms is pigeon-friendly and does not care to clean.balcony after pigeonvisits. Following advice, I asked Housekeeping-Personal to clean the balcony.Got only a clean floor.7) Shower drain too slow.Next has not directly with Herdegen Room to do, but with the First Name 'Maria'. This is wrong. My first name is Maria Teresa.

Location

The shutters that closed the large skylight in the middle of the room were missing, making the room very warm and extremely bright all day long. We were told to use the entry code to retrieve our luggage from the luggage deposit on the day of our departure, but the code did not work, neither could we reach help either by phone or message for over one hour, which caused us to miss our train. Not a reliable system!

+ Great location. Literally a few meters from the shopping mall and a few minutes of walking from train station. The room was very well designed and the day I arrived , house technician came and installed a new TV. The price is uncompetitive. Self check in and check out works well and guidances from the hotel staff were clear. The mattresses were very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. - My carpet wasn’t fully clean. Looked like somebody was eating a bread on it before I came. On the window’s stool was dirty napkin. There was an option to do checkout and leave the baggage till 18 o clock of the check out day in the hotel so I used this opportunity. When I came back around 14:40, the front doors from the street were locked and I couldn’t enter even after entering the code. There was another man at the moment who wanted to leave his baggage there and do check in later, but for him it wasn’t working either. Then luckily appeared a man who had a key and opened for us. So I am not pretty sure if the doors from the street should be closed or not or if the system was broken.

everything was good in terms of location and the cleanliness of the room.

the only problem was people talking very loudly even after 10.00 in the hallway. There was loud noise on all 3 nights I stayed here coming from inside the hotel and I couldn't sleep that well. The hotel has 'house rules' but seems like people don't obey them and unfortunately there was also no staff to check/ complaint on this.

The location was perfect, self check in was so easy, the hotel is not fancy, but is clean and comfortable. The bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable and the coffee maker in the room was the perfect detail.

We extended our reservation, which I had indicated the day before in a text message when we made the reservation that we wanted to stay in the same room. I did not receive a reply. The next day, today, I was forced to change rooms, which I found out from Housekeeping. We had an appointment due to work and had to move our things quickly. It was very inconvenient and annoying at the same time. It also made us miss our appointment.I was told by the reception lady on the phone (after repeated calls) that it was not possible to stay in the same room. I asked several times.What is not possible? Why not place the new guest in the other empty room and leave us in the existing room? There is no logic in this. Especially when I book for almost 2 weeks and the reception lady has no flexibility and hospitality? We still feel very bad. And it's not good here in this new room, smaller too!! And the same room category. We have no calm. We would have liked to have written a good review, but it is unfair and frivolous treatment by the receptionist not to help resolve the situation. This hotel should be about guest comfort. We had no extra special requests. Money is good but you can't ask for anything. We will never come back.Either then why didn't they tell us yesterday or early in the morning and we could have been prepared to pack. But it was a surprise. The point is they got the money, it's paid for, they must have seen that, but not the message.... We are very sad.

I really liked and enjoyed the coffee machine from our room.Really good coffes in the morning made my day.That was great!Thank you for that!very ? cool

In the bathroom we had really small amounts of shampoo and handwash soap.That's why I didn't washed my hair at all,but did a shower.The free WiFi Internet password wasn't working at all.I mentioned on the completed form from the room as well.

No personnel at the hotel, but the instructions to get the key were easy to follow.The room was very warm, we even reduced the heating since it was too warm for us.Good value for the price.

Passable

I booked two rooms and both rooms smelled. They know about this problem because there are many airwicks at stairways and corridors but rooms smell. Furniture is older. But all clean. Good location and great price
