Hotel & Gasthaus DAS RÖHRL Straubing

The hotel was closed for restaurant and shopping

No A.c or fans

Very clean , Staff is excellent. The breakfast is very good. The restaurant is fairly priced the food is fresh and delicious and is family friendly. Our 3rd time there in the last ten years. We will be back.

The weather was rainy and chilly

Location, free parking, restaurant

Could have a simple fan in the rooms for hot weather.

It is located in the center of town and very close to restaurants and shops.

Waiting and looking for staff to get checked out.

Great location, good and plentiful breakfast, and very comfortable rooms with private bathrooms.

No person to check in late arrival. Information with GPS and key entry was a little confusing.

Very modern, comfortable rooms

Granola not great

Excellent location! Great view from our room. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh eggs prepared as requested. Thank you Franz!!!

We were there for one night and enjoyed very much. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. We had our dog with us and it was more than welcome. We will for sure come back.

The property is very centrally located and provides high standard accommodation, service and food.

We cycled in the morning, arriving at 12:00. The manager let us check in early!! Food was excellent ; the breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant was open all the time.

The room was great for a one night stay, but there is no place to lounge around in either your room or in the hotel.

Staff, clean, restaurant, modern. Everything excellent. Order the oven roasted pork dish it was fantastic!! Overall best hotel I have stayed in Germany.

Everything was excellent ?? The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, the room was really nice and modern. We booked a table outside for our evening meal hassle-free, directly from the manager when we checked in. The food was yummy and in-house beer was tremendous ?Highly recommended ?

No complaints whatsoever!

Very nice and moderní room, in hot days quite warm. Profesionál and helpfull staff, great food.

Perfect location directly in the center of town in the middle of restaurants, bars and the clock tower. The hotel restaurant is a great place for a meal and a beer.

The shower has a glass door in the room, so if you prefer privacy with your travel partner, this isn't ideal.

Cleanliness, location, staff friendliness

Poor internet connection (I went down the ground floor to have better internet.)Not enough parking spaceNo kettle at room (I asked the kitchen for hot water every time.)

A lovely hotel which couldn't be more central in the pretty town of Straubing with lots of cafés and restaurants in the vicinity. Staff was very friendly and our room was comfortable and quiet with everything that we needed. We had safe storage for our bikes. Perfect for a stopover before continuing on our bike tour. Good value for money.

Could have been a better selection at breakfast, coffee wasn't great, from a flask and only lukewarm.

Wonderful location on the Donau Bike Trail with the city center immediately in front of the hotel . Our room 102 was spacious ,comfortable, light and clean. Shower was very good and there were toiletries in room . Elevator for upper floors . Good inside and secure bicycle storage . On site restaurant was on the city center (square) with good price point .Breakfast was good with eggs made to order upon request .Would stay here again in this great village .

Loved the location! Breakfast was excellent.

Difficulty with parking but it was during the festival.

Perfect location, amazing historical building. Pretty big room.

We faced with problems with our electric keys: they refused to work properly after 9PM so we couldn't get in our room. Despite reception working hours till 10PM we couldn't find anybody to help us with this. Both times we had to wait in front of our door at least for 10 minutes to get in our room.

I always stay at this hotel when visiting Straubing. The location could not be better, in the center of town. There is parking on-site. The restaurant is good and staff are helpful and friendly.
