- The room was freezing when we arrived. The breakfast was poor - no fruit to have with muesli; stewed, lukewarm coffee; no coffee machine with various options; no fresh bread; highly processed meats. Not what we really expect in the 21st century!
- When I stayed here previously I found that the resurant and Biergarten were closed, as the proprietors were on holiday. I hoped by coming at a different time this year, I would get to experience these this time but once again both were closed. It would be good to have known this in advance! Perhaps 3rd time lucky?

no welcome, open entrance door all noght without staff present, names of guests displayed at entrance, resraurant closed for holiday and not advertised, empty , cold and not welcoming entrance. I came alone as a woman with my small son and did not feel safe.
The shower had great water pressure and bed was comfortable. Check-in was a little awkward to find as you have to check in at the restaurant through a waiter. Coffee at breakfast was excellent, but the vegetarian/vegan options could have been better.
Wifi could not reach my room as it was at the end

Could be noisy as 200 seater beer garden in grounds. Ok last night (Tues) packed up 22.00

mattresses are very soft and thin. unfortunately I had a bad back, and these mattresses triggered it.
