Excellent breakfast, very good value. Comfortable rooms and bedding. Great location in the town and close to the station yet very quiet. Complimentary gingerbread and mulled wine was a nice touch.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet location, good breakfast. When we had a small technical problem with our room help was immediate and friendly. We'll stay here again on our next trip to Regensburg. One nice touch was the inductive charger built into the night stand.

Nothing to criticize.

The rooms were thoughtfully designed and the location was great! Room had amenities for the kids and everything we could need. The owners were kind and went above and beyond to help us find parking for our oversized van-even going so far as to go and refresh our parking meter when we were out sightseeing. Top notch service for sure!

Location

The room was very small and the water pressure in the shower was so low and it took a long time finishing shower. One morning, the water got cut off and we couldn’t go to bathroom for a while. Also, there was no desk in the room to work with my computer. It was worse hotel we have ever been during our European vacation.

Price, location, tiled (v carpeted) floor, courteous & efficient staff

No small fridge, inefficient or non existent air conditioning, very few English speaking TV channels (only news), old fashioned door lock keys w hotel’s name & room number (potential problem if lost outside)

Room was good but summer it could be too warm.

Everything was perfect--proximity to the train station and Regensburg Old town, very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Kathy, and her team were fantastic hosts. We highly recommend Hotel Weidenhof, and will definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to visit Regensburg.

Bedspreads/duvets were very scratchy. Not enough pillows. Lots of street noise.

A nice hotel in a great location, close to the train station and central to the old town. Large room with modern facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early but were able to get into our room before the normal check in time. The e bikes hire was excellent value and the bikes were good - we did a pleasant tour out to the Valhalla. Breakfast was ample with lots of choices.

We would only suggest it would be nice to be able to make a cup of tea to have in the room in the evening. The very kind gentleman at reception helped us by boiling water for us and finding some mugs in the kitchen. But we would be happy to do it ourselves if we had access to the some basic facilities.

Nice hotel close to the station with helpful staff. Room was fairly small with basic facilities - but in line with expectations. Small bathroom but with a good shower. The breakfast was excellent.

Nothing to complain about - my room wasn't luxurious but I wasn't expecting more given the price.

A very good hotel located near the city centre and not far from the train station. A very cosy, clean and comfortable place.

It would be great to have a kettle inside the rooms.

Everything was really good and comfortable. The family room was very cute, and my son was happy with the toys. The staff was kind and responsible.

The only thing that could be improved is having elementary amenities, such as a fridge, a toothbrush, or slippers. Otherwise, everything was good.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable room. 10 out of 10 for the large variety of options at breakfast a perfect start to the day. Just a 5 minute minute walk straight up the road from the train station.

Location is great, clean, friendly stuff, very peaceful. Recommend this spot

close to RR ( DB ) station. The property is about 300-400 yards down a main street from the station.While plenty of taxis are available I would NOT recommend the property to elderly people with baggage. The taxis claim they can’t take you as it is in a pedestrian mall. Nonsense, they can leave you 50 yards from the hotel, the real reason is the low taxi fare they would have. Lazy, they all wait for a more lucrative fare.

A lot of options for choice at breakfast (price is 13 euro). Perfect place for city walk (10 minutes to cathedral) or next connection (5 minutes to train station)

Hotel Weidenhof is a cute boutique hotel very close to the train station. Despite the fact that I need a cane, I was able to walk the distance from the station to the hotel. It is also in walking distance to all the sights and to great places to eat.
