Excellent location. Great security. Beautiful beer garden with fantastic food. Perfectly clean. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Great value. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was good. The location was exceptional, in an old building, part of a religious foundation, which means that it was not just quiet, but had a special unworldly serenity, a retreat from busy everyday life.The restaurant (breakfast room) has a tree-lined garden terrace above the river. The restaurant was open every evening, so no need to walk into town for dinner. Good food.The town is historic and peaceful, with a long and very ancient bridge across the river (Danube). Like Coburg, one of our very favourite places.

There is no lift, not ideal for me as I have reduced mobility and tons of luggage. The staff were very helpful , and carried all the luggage up and down the stairs.

the downstairs can be busy this time of year so hotel service was a little slow, not to complain at all!

The location was perfect. We arrived at night and they had a little Christmas market right outside. I wish we had arrived earlier, because it was in the river and the view would have been amazing. We had a snafu while checking out of the hotel prior to the staff arriving, and waiting for a taxi. I accidentally locked us out of the hotel lobby, with our luggage inside. When the staff did arrive, they couldn’t have been nicer. They offered us coffee while waited for the taxi and even came outside to check on us and the arrival of our taxi. I would love to visit Regensburg again, earlier in the day and when it’s not raining. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely comfortable room, excellent location, view onto the river, very welcoming and relaxing stay after arriving cold wet and tired ?. As I had an early departure the staff kindly prepared me a picnic breakfast box to take with me. Very impressed.Oh and amazing pillows and comfy bed, powerful shower.

The location was excellent. The room had a nice view of the river. One female member of staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was quite uncomfortable. Although it clearly states at the entrance that the restaurant is open till 11 pm, I was refused a drink at 10:30 because ”we took last orders 10 minutes ago.” This was despite me being a hotel guest. The lady I encountered at check-out was extremely disinterested and on the verge of impolite.

Absolutely too hot in the room. It is not hotel's fault that the weather is crazy and Germany is not prepared for that but still, my room faced west and it was hard to take without A/C. I could not really sleep due to heat.The breakfast is ok. Could have more options in the müsli area.The place is also not so easy to find. A little more directions and signalization could help.
