Fabulous hotel. We were upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous. Enormous. So comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing. Everything was very fresh. Excellent coffee from a local supplier.

Spacious, clean, very quiet, yet conveniently located place.About 5 minutes walk to the bridge over Danube leading to the Old Town.

Very cozy rooms with a style and nice wooden furniture. Special appreciation - for the beds! Super comfy! I had an amazing relaxing sleep every day of my stay.

Very nice staff & team. Called Taxis always if you asked although wouldn't help out driving you anywhere, the Taxis in Regensburg the cheapest I've found anywhere in the world honestly, so it only costs 10 euros to have a Taxis drive you. Place Louis Stadl Hotel is gorgeous but a little misleading as the cozy rooms with sofas and lounging chairs is unavailable to guests after 8:00pm. So isolated didn't like this.

Wished the sofa/lounging rooms were open after 8:00pm the booking.com and website is misleading as I chose the place because I thought it would have a good social atmosphere after hours, but they isolate you so the area is pretty worthless. Next time I'll choose a place where you have sections to socialize.

Place with a lot od charm and smooth check in. Close to downtown and yet reachable without the green sticker (which we didnt have). Convenient parking in front of the hotel.

There was no proper wardrobe whether in the bedroom, nor in the bathroom. I understand “the style”, but “the functionality” is as important for a guest. There is zero space provided to be able to put even your cosmetic bag in the bathroom…No coffee machine or kettle or any coffee/tea set up in the room. I had checked it prior and asked for a kettle, and coffee cups before our arrival. They were provided but as I had not written for a spoon, it was not thought to be provided.The quality of the towels do not match the style of the hotel that has been tried to catch; very thin, looks been used for quite some time, no fresh smell…The electricity plugs are there but all on the very low level and behind furniture. Not “guest friendly”.There is a hot air blower in the bathroom, and then there is also a timer related to it on the other side of the wall. A small note how this could be operated would be helpful.

The hotel was in a very convenient and quiet location - about a 10 minute walk into town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the bedding (down and feather duvets and pillows) was excellent and the furnishings were charmingly quirky

There were several minor niggles with our room - curtain hooks missing from the inner end of the curtain so it sagged; no bedside table on one side of the bed with the bedside light on the floor; we took up the offer of a free drink in return for only one room clean over our 3 night stay but our room wasn’t cleaned at all; broken button on the shower. These wouldn’t require much effort to resolve and would make a significant difference to the feel of the hotel

Very good location we had a lovely big room with a kitchen it was spotlessly clean , bed was very comfortable and very handy with car parking

We loved the location of this property on the edge of the old town but only about 10 minutes (walking) from the train station. Absolutely lovely room graced with mid-century modern furniture and a very comfortable bed, plus a bathroom large enough to dance in! The little kitchen was well equipped and very useful since we didn’t try the offered breakfast, but the breakfast space looked comfortable and inviting.

Don’t let Google send you to the wrong hotel. Make sure you get directions for Hotel Luis Stadl NOT Hotel Luis. But should you be led astray (as we were) the staff at Hotel Luis will happily point you in the right direction and it’s only a few more minutes walking (across the river) to get there. Just FYI, Hotel Luis ALSO looks really pleasant!

The location is great...and if you can get one of the rooms on the first floor your will have a small garden for your dog and kid...lovely.

Parking is very sparse

Staff were amazing! Beds were super comfy! We had the family suite and it was perfect. Wished we had a longer stay.

Tasteful Hotel at excellent location, with beach and city all in one leisurely walk away. Nice breakfast and Staff. Danke sehr, we will come again.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was nicely decorated with furniture that goes well with the charm of the hotel.

It’s frustrating to see the price going down by more than 30% on the day of arrival. The reception didn’t offer us a discount.

Lovely spacious room with well equipped kitchenette. The shower was great. Location was an easy 5 min walk into the old town and the staff were lovely.
