    Pros +

    • Location and staff
    • very nice hotel, comfortable room, large and comfortable bed, however I couldn't make coffee in the coffee maker, and it was quite difficult to find the entrance to the hotel, because it doesn't have a large advertising sign, I had to ask passersby, but the unique view from the window of the ancient cathedral and the location almost in the center of the old city are worth choosing this hotel
    • Clean, comfortable bed and pillows, nice linen and towels. Convenient location, as it took me 10 minutes to walk from the train station with the luggage. I like self check in option. I have read in the previous reviews that room comes with a bathtub and assumed that by the property pictures, and was expecting that, however I ended up with ADA shower room, but my fault not checking with the staff ahead of time.

    Cons -

    • Be aware of the cathedral bells at 6am :) also the ventilation makes a constant annoying sound in the room, some people may not even notice probably, but for me it was bothersome.
    • If I had to be picky and just as a recommendation. The suite could have some pictures hung up to make it more cosy, rather than just plane white walls. But overall, nothing that we disliked .
    • Curtains were stained. Housekeeping opened my door without knocking and before the check out time. There is no rack/hook to hang a coat.

The location is perfect, very good breakfast, the heating is convenient for so cold weather

Location was perfect within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Right in town. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a problem with our room, and without hesitation, we were moved to another with an upgrade. Even though the hotel was pretty full, the rooms were quiet. The only thing we heard were the church bells, which for us added a nice little touch. Everything was clean. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

Comfortable room. Contactless, convenient check in process. Restaurant conveniently located right beside the hotel.

Curtains were stained. Housekeeping opened my door without knocking and before the check out time. There is no rack/hook to hang a coat.

The bed, soft and cozy. It was super quiet

    Parking not easy

    10J.G.Posted on: 1-20-2026

Well thought - out arrangements like lighting turned on as one walks and bedding lightly scented. Very high ceiling room to feel old time charm. The location is excellent by the Cathedral and a few steps away from the Danube.

Location across the street from the cathedral!

The absence of on site parking was a drawback, but there are public lots nearby.

Location was perfect for Christmas markets, restaurants, and seeing the sights of Regensburg.

Nothing - everything was very good.

Next to the Dome, clean, comfortable, spacious room, good breakfast

The bed was not very comfortable but ok for a short stay

    10AngelaPosted on: 1-2-2026

Great central location in Old Town. The rooms were large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet fabulous. On Saturdays there is a fresh market outside the hotel that was great. 10/10 recommendation!!

There was nothing that I did not like. The property was fabulous.

    10KarenPosted on: 12-29-2025

The view from my room was delightful also the hotel was close and in the old town. The hotel had a restaurant and bar down stairs. The room was large, warm and well laid out

The pillows are way to soft. Also, would prefer an additional sheet not just a quilt

    10EszterPosted on: 12-29-2025

Perfect! Auto check in makes everything so easy, a nice letter, chocolate on the pillow, apple, water weee waiting for us, such a lovely touch!!! Room is specious, modern, very good bathroom, everything was perfect!

    10AigintaPosted on: 12-23-2025

Amazing location at the center of the city. Extremely quiet room. Good breakfast.

    10LauraPosted on: 12-14-2025

The view of the cathedral was amazing. The restaurant was so tasty. The plaza with bar in the front was very fun to be at and all the people are so friendly. Our room was huge and comfortable

There is no coffee in the rooms, however we were able to go down to the breakfast to get our coffee.

    10VictorPosted on: 12-3-2025

Everything. Very comfortable and central, just around the corner of Dome and all mains attractions. The room has a fantastic view, very spacious with comfy bed. Highly recommended.

    10TomPosted on: 11-16-2025

We couldn't have been more pleased with the location, directly across a courtyard from the Dom and within easy walking distance to sights in the old town, to the Danube and to the train station. Our room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. We did not opt for the breakfast, but had tea and coffee in our room. One of the things that made our stay so special was the assistance we received from the wonderful staff... Maia, Karzanov and Liza. This was the first city in our month-long trip and they assisted us with some reservations we were having difficultly making on our own. We celebrated our last night in Regensburg by dining at the Weltenburger am Dom. All in all, this was a perfect beginning to our October odyssey and set a bar to which all subsequent accommodations were measured.

    10JeffreyPosted on: 11-3-2025

Excellent location right accross the street from the dom, and connected with the Weltenburg restaurant. The breakfast was also excellent because they offered white wurst and pretzles (not always on offer in Bavaria) and fresh pressed orange juice, along with two types of eggs, bacon, sausage and even small pancakes, as well as other fresh fruit/veg. treats. It is also only a few minutes walk from the Dachau park garage.
