very accommodating - we got there at 9 am and they checked up in as we had had a long overnight fight - offered breakfast quiet proximty to station good service

The decor was excellent and fun, the staff was great.

The daytime staff during check in were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our bonus welcome drink. The room was clean and very spacious. Luggage storage available if you are checking in early but the rooms are not ready. Able to make tea in the room, but not coffee.

Breakfast was mediocre. Overnight/morning staff not very friendly or helpful if you can't speak German. Everything has an extra charge including requesting coffee and milk to make in your room. Beds uncomfortable. Ground level rooms face alley with gate that is not locked at night. Felt somewhat unsafe as female travelers.

Great location - close to station, town center, shopping, restaurants and Christmas Markets. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our room was very quiet at night, and the WiFi was strong and reliable. Breakfast was satisfying and the staff generally did a good job replenishing the dishes. Only slight issue - there was often a logjam around the two heavily used coffee machines.

Our room was small so it was somewhat challenging for two people with luggage. Shower was also small but with good water pressure. Our refrigerator was not working, but we are sure the staff would have rectified the situation if we had reported it. My wife does not do well with the traditional feather pillows, but this is a personal preference.

Clean, cozy and comfortable. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Perfect location.

The breakfast was excellent, many choices, and the breakfast area was very nice. The staff was very welcoming and always greet you with a smile. The room had a nice decor, good layout and was very comfortable. The location is excellent, just 6 minutes walk from the train station, and the Old Stone Bridge is about a 10 minutes walk. I enjoyed my stay.

The location of the hotel was in the center of the old town, a short distance from the cathedral. I very much enjoyed walking through the narrow streets, and the old town in general. The hotel was clean and efficient.

As there was no reception staff to answer questions, entry codes which were emailed. I felt it to be a bit impersonal.

Very good location. Easy walk from train station. And easy walk to all things in old town. Very good breakfast.Helpful staff.Charming older hotel. Small bathroom, but we find this is common in many European hotels.The elevator is slow, so when you aren't hauling luggage the lovely winding staircase is quicker.

Unfortunately, we had a room on the front of the hotel and the street (quiet by day) becomes very lively at night.Ask for a away from the street and you’ll be fine or join the folks at the Musik-Cafe-Bar across the street and you’ll be fine.

The hotel is in the heart of the city, which helped us to see it for a few hours and drink some nice beers!The stuff is very polite, the room was very small but clean with a comfortable bed!

Location in the old town made it easy to walk around the Alstadt. Parking in the Garage behind the hotel made for easy access to the hotel. There is a fee to park. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel was in a great location close to both the city center and the train station. Room was small, but we'll equipped for a short stay.

The only window for the single room was at the doorway, so there wasn't a tremendous amount of air circulation during a warm evening.

Very quiet room. Also very clean.Easy access to Altstadt.Car park is conveniently close.Morning staff were friendlier than the staff member who checked us in pm.

Very small ( 5cm approx.) step or threshold from the landing level into the room. Not a huge issue, but we both tripped up on it.
