Pros +
- The guy of the reception is extremely nice. He's the best piece of the hotel! He explained us where and how to go, and was very patient with us since we did a late check in. Our room was very big and clean, the toilet was clean too.
- Friendly staff, good breakfast, quiet room.
- Very friendly, helpful, and accessible staff
Cons -
- Checkin a little complicated.
- It felt a little more like a hostel than a hotel, and it was further from the Old Town than anticipated.
- zero sound isolation = you can hear literally everything from the corridor and other rooms, very obscure entrance to the "hotel", felt much more like workers´hostel, seemingly there was noone at the reception most of the time (say from 7pm - 9am we haven´t seen anybody there)...the price felt inadequate for a hostel..we paid less for a proper 3*hotel in the centre of Konstanz

very friendly and helpful staff, impeccably clean, comfy beds, free car park in front of the hotel, good internet connection, bus to the centre in front of the house

- receptionist was very informative and proactive in getting us checked in. Lots of energy.- location was great for our needs. Regular buses to and from train station and very close to Lidt and other supermarkets- toilet looked clean- slanted ceilings and sky lights were a plus for me
- silicone in shower was black in multiple areas and needed to be replaced- sink faucet and drain has seen better days- multiple stains on the walls- weirdly bright lamp on wall... Questionable placement- no soundproofing. Heard more than most people would like to hear from across the hall during a stay. But at least our neighbours were having a good time.
Easy access into Regensburg (bus stop outside hotel). Helpful staff.
The hotel is situated in the loft of a 3 storey (I think) building. This means that each room has a beam at head height running across it. For taller people this could be a problem, but even small people have to be careful when sitting up in bed/getting up not to hit their heads.
Hotel is off a main road where the area is quiet enough. Free parking spaces in the underground car park. A fair few shops around. The medieval city centre is roughly 15-20 minutes of comfortable walk away. Friendly receptionist. Overall a nice stay in a tidy and cosy accomodation absolutely fine for a night or even more we would probably return.
The actual hotel is in one section of a massive building stairway is shared with others that's obviously a little hassle to climb up to it but we've managed it and weren't much bothered. The area isn't typically German and more like multireligious but safe, also Hotel Amy shouldn't be blamed for that.
Excellent location, good breakfast. Very quirky hotel- ensure you read the reviews to make sure it’s for you. Basically the rooms are above a very grey imposing office block. But looks like any other hotel once you enter it.
Good value for money. Comfortable bed. We could park our bikes in the underground garage. Hotel close to the Donau bike path. Breakfast good
Clean room. Convenient location -- Right next to a major bus corridor that takes you into town in no time. Great price.I arrived outside of the check-in window and the owner was very accommodating in getting me in.
A very "German" hotel -- American travelers may be unused to staying in such a room -- you're in an attic-like space in the second floor of an office building. It took me a little time to figure out how the windows and ventilation worked -- but there is sufficient air and light, don't worry. Also, as usual in Europe, no air conditioning. Also beware -- limited check-in window! Be sure to check in advance.
The parking is free and convenient. We arrived before check in time but, having phoned before arrival, we could check in earlier
The pillows were far too soft and uncomfortable. The roof was very low and we banged our head repeatedly. Breakfast was basic with very little choice
Communication with hotel was good and allowed me to check in early. The room was plain but large enough, bed was large and comfortable, other fittings were adequate. Bathroom was well fitted with a good shower. Security was good with fob access to building and hotel floor and key access to room. Breakfast was reasonable considering small number of people taking it. Check out was easy. Location a little way out of town but access made easy by large number of buses (stop just outside) to old town or rail station or both - I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes.
Coffee at breakfast would not be to the taste of many!
Good size room, clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Breakfast was good. Secure parking for my motorcycle underground.
The door to the hotel is not obvious. The door under the "hotel Amy" sign in not for the hotel. You go through the double glass doors to your left and then it's up 2 flights of stairs to reception. There is a small sign on these glass doors for the hotel but you have to look for a, it's not obvious. Once you know this it's fine.
The triple room had three big beds which were very nice. We were late to the hotel due to trains being cancelled and delayed, because of the flooding and the staff came and let us into our room quickly. The hotel is very handy for the bus. The room had a good shower, and the wifi was very reliable.
We arrived early and were kindly able to check in. Also information given was helpful. Bus at the front takes you into the old town. Supermarket across the road. Great to have free parking
Pillows were too soft. You had to be careful not to hit your head with the placement of the bed.
Close to the downtown (walk, bus), free parking on the premise, nice staff.
Great staff - super professional and friendly, great room, great bed, quite big for a single one, super clean!
Nice and caring personal, standart but very tasteful breakfast, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, quet place without outer noise. Little terrase to chill outer, place to rest inside. I came late than reseption hours because of train issues, but personal accepted me well. I can recommend this place for staying.
Clean hotel,great location,free convenient parking.very safe.
good stay for small price.the employee at the reception was the friendliest I ever met and I would book again to have such a nice welcoming. a parking garage is also free of charge
