LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION -- When you walk out of the hotel you are standing in the historic district. Esp. at Christmas. There is a Christmas market right outside the door of the hotel. Many sweet romantic cafes located close by.

Very loud outside our bedroom window for most of the night. This is a university town and there is not a quiet hour by law. Any loud talking is echoed by the buildings making it even more pronounced.

Superb location, very convenient for getting around the city. It was a bit noisy at night, but still just about okay. Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite poor, and the staff didn’t seem particularly motivated or welcoming.

hotel location is quite central but yet you cant hear any noise and easily reachable to all locations. there was a snow storm and hotel was kind enough to extend our room 1 more day in the same room on our request.

everything was perfect

The rooms were very nice. Interesting lay out in the hotel- very non traditional for modern standards but the room were comfortable and roomy.

The first night was very loud in the street below but after the weekend it was alright.

It was a bit of a maze up and down stairs to get to the room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but very dark.

Location. Regular taxis to and from train station rather than uber are faster and more reliable. Close to sites. Beautiful buildings everywhere. Tiny market just outside. Roof top room-ok if you are short. Nice toiletries. Good bedding. Ok shower toilet sink and heated towel rack.

Reservations could be more flexible. Front desk should tell people when markets are open so that they are not waiting out in the cold. Breakfast extra.

The hotel is in the centre of the Old City.The staff, rooms and facilities are excellent.We were given good advice and local insights by the reception staff The buffet breakfast was very tasty and there was a good selection of fresh food. The selection varied every day.Our room was spotless, also nice and warm, which is handy in a Barvarian winter.We were amazed at the variety of Christmas markets.We visited 7! The quality and value for money was excellentOverall we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel didn't have a coffee lounge and bar, so we had to go out for refreshments. There are attached Thai and Pizza restaurants in the hotel building.However, there is a huge selection of Coffee lounges, bars and restaurants in Regensburg Old City. So it is very easy to find somewhere to eat and drink

Centrally located and the room we had was cosy and clean

Location, efficient and professional staff at reception, that there was someone at night (arrived back around 2am from an event), well kept facility with good movement

The heat in my room #13 would not warm up the room enough even though turned as high as it could go

The location is excellent at the heart of Regensburg Old town, surrounded by many restaurants. The facilities and staffs are great. The room space is relatively big.

Breakfast option is pretty limited. The dust was on the mattress clearly visible, when turning on the bedside lamp. Probably more taking care on the cleanliness and vacuum cleaner might be very helpful. The sink drain in my room was clogged/slow to drain. One more thing, like many hotels nowadays, they only provide complimentary water on the first night, which was disappointing. I don't know why nowadays many hotels acts like AirBnb.

Cozy interior and the staff provided extras such as a refrigerator and coffee set upon request. The location is very central which was great.

The bathroom smelled like a sewer and the furniture in the room was dirty. We were there on a weekend and it was very loud until about 3am.

Room was very nice. Has a historical aura you don't find often. Very comfortable. Check in was fast and the reception was professional.

There were a few minor things that tell the staff does not always fully clean the room. Such as some stains in the tile lining near the shower, the kettle had water in it, and some surfaces in the cupboard were very dusty.

Breakfast was €19 per person for a very simple buffet. In my opinion this is a little expensive, especially considering that there was only one overcrowded coffee machine. The food was not replenished fast enough to keep up with the demand either.
