Pros +
- The room was nice.
- The location was good and public transportation was very close by. Room was clean and very private and we had access to a washer and dryer which was very nice. The coffee machine was also a nice touch but some instructions would’ve been nice. We liked having the option to purchase snacks/beverages (honor system) also. Lots of small conveniences that were so nice. Definitely recommend
- The suite was great overall and looked exactly like the pictures. The suite was well located and quiet.
Cons -
- The name I was given for my room, Amber, was not on ANY door. The location of the room I was directed to said “Bernstein”. The lock system was a nightmare. I was locked in my room!! I had a perfect stranger from the street came in through the window to try and help me get the door unlocked. He got it open, but could not duplicate opening it again. By a stroke of luck he got it open again. I left the door ajar in order to get out of the room. When I was leaving, three guys came in the building and I asked them if they could show me how to operate the lock. One guy came in to try and help. He couldn’t get it open, so I gave the code through the doorway, so the guys standing in the hall could open the door using the code. They said they were having the same trouble with their lock. When I got back from looking at several tourist spots, those guys were coming back into the building. They said they had figured out how to work the lock and showed me how to operate it. This situation was infuriating, and cost me a hour and a half of time as well as missing the city tour on the little red train.
- The room was a bit odd (tight space) with the metal bookcase at the foot of the bed. We could’ve used a wastebasket in the room also. Some hooks or a towel bar would’ve been nice in the bathroom also. Still a very good room and location.
- Our suite was two floors up, no elevator, which we may have overlooked during booking. This was a little impractical with a baby stroller. The courtyard has small pebble stones that make it incredibly hard to pull a suitcase or stroller.

It's location is great--in the historical old part of town. The building has several rooms for rent and mine was very comfortable and quiet. Plus, the staff was very responsive--during a hot spell they provided a fan on request.
Not the fault of the property, but the grocery store around the block (Netto) was not the best. It's reputation is as a cost-saving choice, so perhaps to be expected.
Nice, clean and spacious apartment! Bus stop and old town in walking distance. Everything was great except for one thing, see below.
No hairdryer provided, so we had to leave with wet and messy hair in the morning. We’ve never had this issue anywhere in years of traveling.
It was perfect location and nice to use kitchen and laundry. It’s done an alley that was super quiet .
It worked great for us. This isn’t so much I didn’t like it, but would have liked the shower to be able to get hotter by a few degrees. This is a minor problem because otherwise it was super clean, the shower had plenty of pressure.
Great location close to the center, grocery, and bus stop. Very quiet and clean room. Nice spacious bed.
The rooms are so beautiful and comfortable..For sure I will visit it again..Except this the hotel is the centre of old town of Regensburg
This is a cute unit in a small courtyard building on a cute street on the edge of Regensburg's quaint historic center. Everything looks newly renovated and spic and span. All in all, a great value for the facilities and location. The decor is tasteful (not as garish as in the pictures), and the holiday decoration is charming. There's a cafe-bakery about a block away for breakfast.
Being in an old building, the unit is oddly-shaped and is on many little steps and levels. There's no elevator (nor would I expect one) in a building like this. People with mobility challenge should take note. The couch can't really be used in the low space under the eave, but there's not much you can do with that space, and I didn't miss having a couch. The only thing I would request is to put the bed near a night table and a power outlet. The bed is currently pushed right up to a wall that has metal sculptures (with sharp points!) hanging. One could bump into them while sleeping, and that made me nervous. Also, I never could find a trash bin.
Beautiful details. Very quiet area.
The fridge was making noise and I could not turn if off.
In the midst of the medieval town of Regensburg in an old and very nicely refurbished building. Very calm as in the pedestrian zone with grocery stores and restaurants within minutes (if not seconds).
The accommodation is well-decorated and has a unique flair. The location is very central yet completely quiet and we really appreciated the calm. The contact with our guest was excellent, he was very responsive and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Well designed, perfect location, quiet, comfortable
Entering the property required pre-coordination and a phone call; I would have preferred contactless. Heating was set too high and also required a phone call to ask for operational instructions.
It was very well kept and the room was beautiful.
