ibis Hotel Regensburg City

I had an issue with my room key and it was resolved within minutes thanks to the friendly help of the front desk staff. I particularly liked the late check-out at 12:00, which allows for a gentle start of the day without having to rush out of your room.

The room light switch is positioned far inside the room. I found it mildly inconvenient that I had to enter a dark room and search for the light switch.

Great location, they also gave us a corner room which had a lots of windows

Excellent location very close to the railway station and the mall. The room is OK for a business stay and clean, but very basic.

I would have liked a refrigerator in the room.

Very nice, polite and helpful staff. The room was very clean, everything was great.

The room was a little cold, for our likeness, even we put the thermostat to max...but maybe is just us:). And another thing was the noise from outside. The hotel is next to the main road and our window was facing the road, so was a bit noisy. But other way, was very nice stay.

Very good breakfast. It was also good that it started at 6:30am, since I needed to be out early each day.

The staff was friendly and spoke English. The room was clean and looked the same as in the photos. The hotel is located close by the shopping mall and not that far from the city centre. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The location next to the train station is ideal when traveling by train. The room is a little basic, but that is to be expected with IBIS.

The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location, walking distance to most places.

It’s only 20 min walking to the centre. The beds are long and quite comfortable.

The rooms situated to the street are very loud (the hotel is next to the busy crossroad opposite to the main railway station), the window has to be closed. The receptionist could be more profesional. The parking lot is not so easy to find (the entrance is from Gemeinestraße). The price is 10 Euro/night.

The room had a good size and was fine, though nothing special. The location was quite good close to the train station, though a little bit in the opposite direction of the city centre/old town. Between the train station and the old town would be better (but of course I knew the location when I booked).

The price (193 euros for one night, without breakfast) was too much. I expected more of the hotel for that price, since I have stayed other places in Germany for half of that. I could also stay cheaper in Norway for higher quality. Don’t know if that is the normal price they take or if prices were so high due to an event or similar.

We loved how close it is to the train station- right across the street. The room was clean and affordable and accessible by elevator. Staff happily provided extra towels. We enjoyed the bar one evening.

An extra trash can in the room would have been nice.

Close to train station

Due to staff shortages rooms were not cleaned for three days. My room was cleaned for the fourth night. No kettle in room. No security box. As per description, but given the price one might have expected these.
