    Pros +

    • Location made everywhere accessible by walking just few steps from Hauptbanhof, free coffee machine at reciption was a plus and first time to see in a hotel, cleanness of the hotel was excellent and on the top of this they had a very cooperative smiling team who always helped with their recommendations.
    • I wish you had a flag or something telling me where your hotel was on the street. I went to the store next door and she showed me. oh well. this is a 4 star hotel and the receptionist, Olga was terrific.
    • Central. Paid parking 3 min walk. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms.

    Cons -

    • TV channels weren't working , few choices at breakfast so we didn't use it would have helped if breakfast had some variety so we didn't need to go out for breakfast
    • signage outside so I could
    • Smaller beds, minimum amenities in room

Walking distance to everything, including the train station. The room and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. The hand soap, shower gel and the shampoo were the best we have ever smelt!! We regreted not buying in the reception...There was free coffee and fruits in the hotel lobby. I would definately stay there again!!

    - Less than 10 min walk from the central station and easy to find- Staffs are friendly and speak fluent English- Elevator facilitated- Very clean everywhere in the facility - reception, stairs, elevator, aisle, room, bathroom- Drip coffee for free at reception- Less than 5 min walk from a supermarket (REWE)- Walkable distance from/to famous sightseeing spots (church, river, bridge, castle, sausage restaurant, etc.)- Very quiet though the facility is located at city center- Electric kettle, tea & coffee set in room- Large TV with great selection of channels

(Not complaint, just for information for future visitors)- No refrigerator in room- Controller of air conditioner is complicated. Maybe better to ask staffs

A good hotel in city center, nice for stay one night for us. They are really dog-friendly, didn't asked any additional fee for stay with our dog. Free caffe, good breakfast.

Location was great, was very closed to main attractions in the city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel doesn’t have parking but they recommend one very close by and not expensive.

Everything was nice, the location was central and the hotel was beautiful and all necessary was available. For breakfast, it’s good to go there either before 9:30 or expect to wait 5-10 minutes. It’s usually quite full. They also notify you about this through posters in the hotel. The breakfast was very good. The location is close to both center and the train station.

Perfect location. Modern room with clever use of space. Nice bathroom. Free coffee was a nice touch.

No parking on site, and the parking garages nearby were all full. Water pressure in shower was not great. Need a firmer pillow, or two pillows, on bed.

    10Camp04Posted on: 12-22-2025

Perfect location in the heart of Regensburg. Parking is possible in a parking garage in 2-3 minutes walking distance. Kind and helpful hotel staff, who provide you details about the sightseeing in the City. Nice, clean well equipped rooms. Great breakfast.

The room was comfortable, the staff is very nice and friendly and the location is very good ?The breakfast was good with different foods. In the lobby we were able to get coffee and buy drinks and snacks and even glühwein ♥️

The room was not very soundproof, so it was a bit loud during the night. Also there were only papercups in the room for the tea and coffee, would be better to have normal cups.

Great location in the center, just a short walk from a parking garage.Welcome at reception was professional and pleasant. Free coffee in the lobby and a self-service beverage bar.Pleasant design of both the hotel and the rooms.Nice underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Limited seating at breakfast; we had to wait for a table to become availablePoorly organized breakfast and an intrusive guest verification process by the staffMiserable selection of vegetables, only cucumber and dried-up, shriveled tomatoesClunky beds; the double bed, which is supposed to be joined together, doesn't stay together and keeps splitting into two parts on wheels that drift apart.Because of this, we discovered a mess under the bed (leftover snacks).

The close proximity to the train station. Excellent breakfast.

No onsite restaurant, but saying this there were plenty in the vicinity.

Breakfast was very good, with enough choices for everybody.

The mattresses on the bed were too large for the bedframe and they had the tendency to slide to the floor. We stayed only 2 nights but the towels were not changed , and cleaning the room was not done after the first night. Not that it was dirty but I assumed this was the protocol

Some staff fantastic, location very near train and short walk to the old stone bridge… small town. Coffee pot in room and coffee downstairs

Didn’t like the design of the rooms especially the fabric headboard which is a dust collector. The curtains on the windows were coming off the track and due to the high ceiling I couldn’t fix

I don,t mind or use facility's, so I cannot rate them. This hotel is a really excellent location for Regensburg.

It would have been helpful to know the Hotel is located in the shopping area meant for pedestrians and that a parking facility is just around the corner.

We stayed at Elaya Hotel Regensburg City Centre for 2 nights in September. The good

    Could be better

    6JohnsonPosted on: 9-10-2025

The hotel is handy for the train station and for the town centre.

We booked an ordinary double room, but were given a room adapted for people with disabilities, which didn't really suit us. It was on the top floor and a long way from the stairs and lift, which didn't seem ideal for its purpose.
