    Cons -

    • Missed sausage & bacon for breakfast although lots of choices, many were not what I eat for breakfast as an American. My husband was happy with the salmon choice. Didn’t try the eggs, should have.
    • We stayed in the double king room for 3 adults which was modern and plenty of room but I must say the beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve slept on in ages. Mattress and pillows need an update to match the rest of the room.
    • Having to lug rollerbags down the cobblestone streets

Good location, in the old town, close to Christmas markets.Lovely staff and comfortable rooms with great beds.Parking on site is limited and must be booked - you get to drive through the pedestrian area to the entrance.Breakfast buffet was good with options for coffee (not the best coffee but ok)

Very good central location, clean spacious room, excellent breakfast. Easy walk from the train station.

    Perfect location

No A/C in the room even though booking.com details said there was.

    8MimozaPosted on: 4-23-2025

The location was perfect. You could reach by walk the centre city and historic attractions. Breakfast was very good. No eggs or festivity signature even it was Easter. The room was small but cozy with kettle and water.

    The bed was not comfortable.

Nice clean room, EXTREMELY quiet, beautiful lighting in the hotel and tasteful interior.Breakfast had a lot of vegan options, and the service was excellent. Receptionists and cleaners all just lovely, and the location can't be beat.

    Everything was top!

If in Regensburg,go to this hotel! Nice hotel, room, friendly staff, very good breakfast, parking in the backyard.Absolutely excellent location - directly in the city centre and really literally like 3mins walking distsnce to the Christmas market.Beautiful Christmas decoration of the hotel.

This will be rather improvement notes for the hotel: please provide automatically (e.g.via Booking message) detailed info about arrival / parking:I was given instructions about going throuh the pedestrian zone only upon question. Parking was 25 Euro, not 20,as stated on Booking.Last but not least, please warn the guest specifically to buy the Umweltzone plaquette, we found out only on the day of arrival,on our way,and it was very stressful to find a place to be able to buy it somewhere.. (it is written only in small on the booking confirmation, below).

Nice hotel, perfect location, good value. . . No air condition, only a floor fan . . . The room was small, but comfortable. Nice European breakfast. I recommend this hotel.

    Disappointing

    1. We picked this hotel because they advertised it as having vegan options for breakfast. Newsflash: vegan doesn't mean just vegetables on a plate. Very disappointing! There are so many simple things you can make for a vegan diet, how about sauteed mushrooms, roasted potatoes, hummus, avocado salad, cold pasta salad, fake salami and cheese which are available in any supermarket, the options are countless, all you need is some real empathy and interest. I'm not saying their breakfast sucks, but their vegan options are inexistent. Lesson learned for next time, always ask what options there are in advance.2. We were supposed to get a room "with a view" but the only thing outside our window was the rusty tin roof of another building. The room was dark and depressing mainly because of this. Again, fake advertising.3. No one came to pick the garbage during our stay. At 30 degrees inside, sleeping with the garbage in your nose is more than unpleasant. Cleaning service did come inside our room but just to bring us an extra pillow that we had requested. They didn't touch the garbage. Very uncool.

The location was great and had easy enough access to all the attractions of this UNESCO listed medieval city.

Trying to locate the hotel via car (we did a driving holiday) and maneuver a car through the small streets. We found a nearby parking garage and kept the car there. It wasn't expensive to park (15€ for 24hrs).

    Central Hotel

Very noisy during the night (bars and clubs nearby). In summer very warm without open windows. I expect something better for this price category.

    6JohnPosted on: 3-3-2024

The Hotel is very close to the Centre of Regensburg.

Access to the Hotel is difficult. Through very narrow streets, some pedestrians streets. Staffe of the Hotel was kind enough to offer parking spot behind the Hotel.

    Superb

Noise during the night hours. The building is old and not good sound isolated.

    5AmyPosted on: 10-3-2023

The location was great, very central and easy to explore the city.

The room was so noisy it was like people outside were in the room, and you could also hear anyone else in the hotel moving around or using their bathroom. It was so hard to sleep, my whole family were disturbed. When I mentioned this to the reception staff they were very dismissive and said this is the middle of the city. Wifi did not work at all in the room either.

Kind staff, great location, amazing breakfast, very clean, clean towel, clean toilet.

Room was too small, wooden floor made lot of noise every time I input my feet on the floor, and because it is surrounded by pubs and cafes, there was noise whole night so could not sleep.
