Hotel Luis

The room was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The blackout curtains are a big plus.

Location is not ideal but also not terrible. If you're up for walking, there are plenty of great sights, restaurants and activities about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The room was a bit noisy due to outside noise, but not to the point that it kept me up all night.

I see a lot of positive feedback and reserved this hotel. But alias seems to me especially my room for single person was most inappropriate and uncomfortable. It was under the roof, small, dark with small window. No any amenities such freez, wardrobe, safe. Nothing. The bad size was 90x200 and exactly the same size duvet, which is very small. The walls very thin and you hear any noise from neighbor. Maybe it's only for rooms that under roof. Escape those floor, otherwise you will sorrow your stay.I think hotel should warn that rooms under the roof far from others.

Disappointing

The windows are small and the light is scarce. Of course, there are other hotels like that, but why did you paint the walls black? This is the darkest hotel I have ever stayed at. There is no wardrobe or shelves or anything to take out your luggage.

Big room, close to town, going WiFi, pleasant staff

We stayed at Hotel Luis one night on our way to Vienna. We only arrived in the evening but the location was great as it allowed us to walk into town for breakfast and still see some of beautiful old town of Regensburg before setting off. The hotel itself is really cool and the bedrooms are HUGE. Will definitely stay again if back.

Renovated with vintage stuff

We could not pay by credit card. They asked for my credit card number and cvc, strange. The exit was blocked by two cars. The breakfast was poor. The room had a support beam in the middle. No cubbards, they should write that in their Booking.com page.

Nice staff, super comfy beds, parking and great breakfast. It was our second stay here and not last.

Nice rooms, comfortable Staff was kind and helpful 10 minutes walk to old town, yet quiet :-)

Everything was good, location, parking, staff, decoration

It didn't have air conditioning though

Nice hotel, very pleasant staff, easy covered and secure parking at a relatively modest charge. Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, nice bedding. Fan provided. Hotel in generally quiet residential neighbourhood, but easy walking distance to centre.

The room was very dark, not a problem in itself, but the lighting was also very low, I'm sure it is a design decision, but not totally convenient... There was a bit of noise on the Saturday night from the road outside (human more than traffic), so we could not really have the window open (fan was very useful!) but not on Sunday night, so we could open the window and that was fine.

The room and bed was comfortable and the staff were amazing.

Not much we didn't like. It would be nice if they had a kettle for hot water in the room.

Beautiful rooms, excellent decor and most importantly, functioning and effective air conditioning!

The breakfast buffet selection was a little limited, but what they lacked in quantity they made up for 10 times over with quality

Very clean, spacious room with a really nice bathroom. The whole hotel is kind of "designer"-like, punching above its weight. Would stay again.

Slept with an open window and got woken up by a garbage truck at 6am. The location is good but not super central if that's what you're after (we still walked to the city center without issues). Parking is paid.

the elevator is like from a different planet...warm, stuffy, not really clean...but wouldn't prevent me from booking again for sure :)

The location was OK, not many shops around ,clean vintage style rooms and walk ways! Staff very friendly and good communication!

Apart from charging 8 euro extra for parking everything was OK, good value for money ! No-one will tell you when booking that the parking it's not included in the price ?

Chose this location as it had an EV charger (Tesla Destination Charger) and it indeed had 3 chargers, functional and with parking spaces available. So on this front, the hotel definitely met my expectations and would choose again.

In the triple room, the 2nd bed could have been a bit larger. Also, the location of the hotel is definitely not ideal, as on my way from the hotel to a restaurant (quite far away), I witnessed a fight near the train station; definitely not the hotel's fault and nothing they could do about it, but I recommend avoiding the bus/train station nearby or travel by cab.
