Hotel Concertino Zlatá Husa

Location is good, breakfast is fine. the reception people were nice and helpful

Some of the stuff in the reasturant were really unpatient and rude. nobody speaks one word in English and there body langauge and mimics is really not welcoming.

The location of the hotel is great, situated right in the centre and very near the castle. The room is a good size and I appreciated that the toilet was separate from the bathroom. Very friendly staff at the reception and the main restaurant.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were not good.

The pillows are to soft - not comfortabel - should be more hard.

Right on the main square. 2km from the main bus/train station but there is a bus which connected quite well. Big room - quiet at night.

Breakfast was good the first morning but the second morning they didn’t have any cut fresh fruit or pastries.

- Good location in the centre of town- Bonus to have reserved underground parking (but warning the entrance is very narrow!)- Staff were friendly and accommodating for my midnight arrival- Shower was clean and powerful- Breakfast was good variety (I only had it one morning so imagine it could get "samey" every day)

- No AC- Beds were quite uncomfortable (hard mattress and soft pillow)- Rooms were a bit dated but still functioning- Light in porch area not working- Windows looked into other rooms

Overall the facilities fully met our expectations and provided us with all of our needs. The room was well furnished and importantly for us nice and quiet.

The over bath shower was a bit problematic and we would have preferred to be able to have a standing shower. Also an in house laundry would have been useful, as we were saying for a week and there are no launderettes in town.

Great location in the centre of this beautiful town. Spacious room with a lovely little balcony. Room was located at the rear of the property and was very quiet.

A kettle would have been nice. The handheld shower was over the bath with no overhead hook or shower curtain. Not an issue for us but maybe a consideration for other guests?

Nice localisation, good food in the restaurant, good communication with personel.

Lack of air conditioning in room (it was very hot day). Additional fee for parking underground.

The best hotel we have stayed in two weeks in Czechia. The room was super comfortable and the facilities were great. Very good breakfast. Location excellent.

Very nice location right on the square. Lovely pub with outside sitting, which was nice. Stylish hotel with very kind staff. Breakfast okay.

With open windows we hear all the neighbour's in the late evening and also early morning, and was impossible to close to window cause was sooo warm and we didnt sleep very well cause of it...also its little bit older furniture, but nice and clean .i would come again definitelly !

Parking in the squere next to teh hotel is free diring the weekends.

There is an underground parking available (prior reservation needed). The hotel's located in the city center.

There wasn't much I didn't like. The hotel is a little outdated, but it's comfortable and I cannot complain at anything really.

I didn’t get exactly the same room as I was booked. Hard to find normal parking. It was free from Sunday to Monday 7am so we had to wake up at 6:30am just to buy parking ticket. Also I think the price is quite high for this hotel.

We traveled back from vacation and decided to stay in some new place - and Jindrichuv Hradec looked interesting town. We didn't plan upfront and just selected, what was available. Because we arrived during the night - it was important for us to know that there will be somebody on reception - thank you for checking in. Rooms are big - we could book only one room for the whole family if did it upfront.

Basically, the personally was friendly and kind of helpful … as long as helping is easy (more to this under the negative aspects). The hotel is clean, well located, the breakfast is adequate … so, overall it is a recommendation. Bikes can be locked in the garage. Price-Benefit trade off is very good! The city itself is worth visiting.

Well, there was one problem, which I do not take as solved adequately to a 4* Hotel. I was arriving quite late, 20:15. I asked at the reception, if I can take a shower and then go to the Hotel Restaurant. He told me, that this is perfectly fine, the kitchen will be open until 21:00. OK! I could have ordered and come later, I could have talked to the restaurant personnel … but I relied on the receptionist‘s judgement. Later, I arrived at the restaurant at 20:50, was ignored by the personnel (especially by the young girl), then the waiter approached my table at 1 minute to 9 .., sorry, kitchen closed! This is a no go! In the following there were more discussions on what not can be done … I am only a waiter, I am only the receptionist … a sorry and standing to the own mistakes is not enough in this course … and also not recommending me to go to a Kebap … remember it is a 4* Hotel. Finally I convinced the waiter to talk to the kitchen personnel … and see, there was suddenly food possible.I am not complaining to get not food, when I am late. I am complaining about the felt helplessness of a personnel in a 4* Hotel … the customer shall be in the middle, not the one asking and recommending treatment. Following I observed the situation outside … apparently the other tables for other reasons could also not follow the philiosophy.Bottom line: apologies for a mistake is great, but finding a solution for the customer shall be in the focus!
