The hotel needs a renovation. It feels like a dimension door to the late 70s if you go for thiskind of thing. The staff are doing their best to make up for the building, friendly and accommodating.

The decor is really old, the light fixtures are straight from a yard sale and the bathroom is terrible: a cluncky stall shower with bad heat adjustment and so little power that when the neigbours turn oon the water I get a cold rush.

The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. We were able to walk to our dinner destination.The breakfast was good.

Location is great, stuff is really nice and friendly, a lot of towels, big room, quiet place, nice crib for the baby available, very convenient parking

Weak internet connection, not enough sockets are in the room and especially next to the beds, no small light/reading light in the room (the lamps are quite bright), the light at the entrance is going off by itself, and it's not very comfortable

Can be noisy, depending on who’s in neighbouring rooms , not hotels fault, but walls and door thin so noise travels

Warm in the summer, no airco, the sound isolation from the street works well but the street is loud if the windows are opened for refreshing

Located on a main Boulevard. I pulled my motorcycle up on the sidewalk, out of traffic, to check in. When the man at the front desk came out, I thought he was going to tell me to move. Instead he asked if he could take my luggage and gave me directions to the parking in the rear. When I got there he was in the parking area to show me where to park. After I checked in he told me my luggage was already in my room. I have NEVER had Service like that!!!! The room's window opened to a main Intersection so I could enjoy the city sounds while I checked E-mails. I felt so superior sipping a beer and watching pedestrians and traffic. They suggested a great restaurant, and gave me directions, to the Pedestrian Zone.

Not a thing!

A very nice and basic hotel. Spotless, clean room. Quiet room despite major road outside. Super nice staff! The breakfast was good and rich. Interior in a well-preserved seventies style, which we appreciated. The hotel has small parking (we reserverad in advance). Good location with walking distance to the Festspeilhaus and close to other attractions in the old parts of Bayreuth.

There is no elevator, but the staff help carry luggage up and down. The surroundings around the hotel are not the most charming.

This was a lovely property close to all the facilities and in the old town. Breakfast was very good.

Five minute walk from train station and 10 minute walk from city sites. Having eggs cooked to order was an absolute treat and much appreciated

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, there is always a warm welcome when you enter the hotel and at the breakfast. The breakfast is quite nice, with selected products of higher standard (not cheap things). The bathroom in my room was also big and nicely arranged. Everything was very clean.

I was very disappointed about the "bed" itself. I was expecting a standalone standard bed as it is shown on all the photos on their website and booking.com, instead I had a kind of a "chouch-bed" which was very small and hard. There was no slatted frame and just a single wooden board underneath. It was surrounded by a wood frame on the bottom, which I easily touched during the night with my feet (body height 1.63 m). I do not think the "bed" was 2 m long. There is no pictures of these rooms on their website nor on booking.com. Like this its is not possible to imaging what to expect and instead one gets wrong expectation. To be honest, I would not have booked the room if I would have seen these rooms for single travelers. The hotel and staff is otherwise so nice. Maybe with a bit of investment this point could be easily improved.

I have to leave this in the review, don't I.As far as I know there's no access for wheelchairs, it's all stairs and no lift. There may be rooms on the ground floor, but, as stated before, I wouldn't know about that.The rooms are dated. I'm in my 50s, so yeah.But again, everything was just so spotlessly clean. There's no bad review at all, apart from maybe wheelchair access.

Convienently located just outside the city center but walking distance. Parking space, lovely breakfast.
