Hotel Poseidon

The breakfast spread was pretty good!

We were on the 3rd floor, facing Kulmbacher St., and the street noise was fairly loud. I suspect there's a nearby bar with chatty smokers.

The hotel claimed that I did not leave the key behind when I did , and said they would charge my credit card after I had left-that is not acceptable. They alsi charged me for breakfast when it was supposed to be included.

The location, is the only positive

No long opening hours of the reception, Weird smell in the room,The bed quality,Small, unclean bathroom,There were cracks in the Washingdesk,Everyone could come into the hotel at night, this gave me an unsafe feeling.

Arrangement was fine.

I had to pay twice. Once online and then again at Automat, because there was no option to get my Room key.

Check in system

No one was at reception in given time but check in system was good. But we booked 1 double bed but got 3 single bed room. Cherry on top breakfast was on potential it was automatically added to bill. Worse part of stay cleaners came in room without knocking the door. And of course i paid for parking too 15€

Location

There are no room facilities, no kettle, no cup, no drinking glass, no room slippers, no fridge. It was extremely overpriced for the services it provided.

Could be cleaner.

Very good location, central and right across a beautiful parc. Fabulous breakfast, very comfortable bed and we also enjoyed the pool.

Location very near the city center, good breakfast.

Parking quite expensive, the staff were helpful but only spoke German.

No check in staff, had to be done on a computer in the corridor which then issued you a key. Bedroom very dated, paid for a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed in it, and ended up with a room with 3 x single beds, but only 1 x set of bedding.Bathroom dirty, no air conditioning, and curtains wouldn't cover the windows. Very lumpy bed. Tried to get breakfast, but they closed at 9am.Noone to speak to, to complain.

City centre location and convenience.

Automatic self-checkin felt off-putting. Further - I had difficulty working out how door lock mechanism worked - simple when you know how - but perhaps an idiot proof explanation could be provided! I rang number for help but rang out & then sent txt via Booking.com - helpful woman rang me within 3 mins & sorted the problem!!?

The hotel / rooms are dated, it costs a lot for what it offers.

I could not get into the hotel room. The machine would not sign me in. I tried 4 different cards and no one answered the hotel phone.

Horrible.

Never stay at this hotel.No air conditioning. No wifi. Facing a busy road, very noisy throughout the night.. Poor quality facilities and breakfast. Strange and unreliable door key system.It was really really really expensive for what it is.

The room was small and comfy. The bathroom, while shared with other rooms, was nice and clean. There were fresh towels provided. The process of check-in and check-out was uncomplicated and fast. I didn't eat breakfast there, so can't say anything about that. But for the money I paidE it was well worth it.

The touchscreen on the self-check-in automat didn't register touches too well, which makes one have to be really focused when using it.

Worst experience ever

Everything. I wanted to do the check-in at the automated machine and after a lot of tries the machine didn’t work. I tried to make a new reservation but the same thing, I also called the reception several times but no one answered. It was almos 01:00 after midnight after more than 3 hours trying to enter the room. I had to find another hotel otherwise I would have pass the night outside. I went the next day to the reception and the guy told me you have to talk with booking, we don’t remain any responsabilitie. After discuting more than 15 minutes with him I had to go because they refused to refund me and I was late for airport. If I had more time I would have call the police

The location is good… other than that it was not something I would recommend. The room was smelling on food when something was cooked downstairs. It has to be better shown that for the economy single room you don’t have the shower and toilet, what I paid 104 euro, and when I wanted to change it to a normal room with shower and toilet they charged me extra 50 euro… so definitely didn’t get my moneys worth
