Convenient location

I don’t mind an old hotel if it’s clean and the bed linen is in good condition, but here everything felt worn out, and the sheets seemed old and of poor quality.

Bed sheets were dirty and stained, bathroom hair dryer missing parts with live wires showing and the cherry on the cake was the cockroaches in the bathroom.

Disgusting attitude from the receptionist at Ibis Gyor. We were first at the reception and asked for a beer from the bar. We were told that it wasn’t possible right now because she had to serve the incoming guests who kept arriving. Later, the same young, rude lady served the guests who came after us, even though she saw that we were waiting and were first in line. When we asked her seriously about it, she raised her voice. If the bar can’t serve guests, they should just close it instead of misleading us. After all, they’re wasting our time, and we’ve traveled from afar. Absolutely terrible service.

The hotel staff were helpful and professional. The room was prepared for us with a baby cot. The breakfast was extensive and good. There was a high chair available. The location is very convenient for downtown, the station & local amenities.

Hotel well keeps IBIS standard. Rooms are small but comfortable, soundproof and perfectly clean. Although small, there is plenty of appropriately designed storage spaces. Bed pleasant. Well working shower with fine universal body-hair gel. Breakfast here is really very good - for a 3star hotel - it is fantastic, nothing missing. We loved "sweet pumpkin cream" waffles. Safe parking for 10 EUR/day. Well trained staff, fine people at the reception. 15 min walk from city center, close to the train station and grand "Arkád" shopping mall.

Although all spotless clean, some parts of the room show that they have been in service for many years. Hence the point down .)

I was very surprised with all facilities, location and properties. Everything was top - clean, parking, food, comfortable beds. I recommend this place and next time in Gyor no doubt will book you again

There was no balcony and as a smoker should go outsidе

That there are hidden charges,for the car even though they have private parking and for the cat.And after asking I figured out I need to pay extra for the parking and my cat.I mean I would pay gladly, but why does it need to be extra and not included upon making the reservation through booking.com

It was a decent little hotel, 10 mins walk from the train station. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was alright.

It would have been nice to have more towels, there were one provided each for bathing and one for the hands, but none for the floor.

The room and the hotel in general was very clean, the staff really kind and professional, the location was enough central and in a quiet neighborhood, not far from central town. I do recommend this hotel!

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The girl at the checkout was outstanding, handling everything by herself all night with such friendliness and professionalism. All the other staff were also very friendly and nice, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The hotel is clean, though it could use some refurbishing to freshen it up a bit. The location is excellent, and breakfast was decent, though it could benefit from more variety. Despite these minor issues, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff make this hotel a place I would recommend.

The hotel was overall alright, but the rooms were old and outdated, and the breakfast had a small variety of options. These aspects detracted from the overall experience.

Liked the minimalistic room design a lot: no extra things like bar (that I never used) or marketing (that I’m never interested in). Nice and clean. Really good breakfast.

The location was good, the young receptionist at the time of our check-in was friendly and polite.

The room was dirty especially under the bed. We wanted to use the underground parking but first of all it's some old inclined metal platforms. Which may be acceptable for jeeps but not for standard hight cars. We almost destroyed the front bumper of our car when getting there, and unfortunately my father in law was less lucky and he broke the back bumper because of the inclination of the platform. The hotel said its on guest's reaponsibility but my in-law asked an old grumpy man who came down where to park and he pointed him to go there.

2006 wants the room back. I've booked in a hurry, as a last minute change of plans, and I instantly regretted it. I chose Ibis, as I've been in a few but this one needs a revamp as soon as possible. One of the card keys wasn't even working, the facilities were non existent or mediocre. Way too expensive for what it offers, but at least it was clean.
