Hotel Klastrom

Good value - able to have the experience of staying in a historic well restored monastery. The breakfast is worth getting. 9 min walk from the train station. The restaurants nearby - English Pub and Matroz were recommended by the desk - great food.

Parking and pet fee are reasonable. All in all an ok hotel, would recommend.

Still not sure if you can ask for a crib if you are staying with your kid. We did not receive one. It would be nice that you are prompted for this if when you book. Breakfast could use a bit more options in fruits and veggies.

We spent one night at the Klastrom Hotel. The location couldn’t be better. The room isn’t very large, but it’s perfectly sufficient for two people. It was a bit unusual that it had the atmosphere of a monastic cell, and naturally, there were single beds. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste.

The breakfast was not very imaginative, and the selection was quite limited.Since it is an old building preserved in its original form, there is no elevator — which is understandable, but climbing the stairs was a bit tiring.

None, everything met our expectations.

The man at reception was so kind. We arrived from Mosonmagyarovar on bicycles in the cold, pouring rain. He let us check in early and offered to help me because my fingers were stiff with cold. The room was great. Nice and big. Plenty of space, very high ceilings, and the heating unit was great for warming me up.

The weather, but the hotel has no control over that.

Great location on river in historic center. Great atmosphere and charm, historic convent with wide hallways, interesting doors. Comfortable, basic room and great bed. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff.

The location is perfect, the building itself is historical and interesting, the staff was kind, the breakfast was good. The room is basic but functional.

The shower is quite small. First we had drainage problem in the sink, which was fixed on the same day, but the fix created a leak which, they could not fix because it was already a weekend.Note to whom it is important: 1st floor is high like a 2nd, no elevator.

Location is absolutely the best we could get - in the city centre, close to the waterpark, quite and stylish, with atmosphere. Breakfast was nice, staff very kind :)

Very nice hotel with exceptional breakfast. The building itself is extremely interesting since it is a historic building fully renovated. Extremely comfortable beds, very spacious room. Personel was exceptionally friendly and helped us with everything. The location is perfect since it's in the edge of the historic part of the city as well as next to the river.

Dated hotel without the amenities of a finer lodging.But, a very neat place.

Hotel is located in the center of Gyor. The room was on a small size but comfortable bed, and a big bathroom. Breakfast variated and tasty. All in all, good value for money.

There is a smell of old wood that is a bit bothersome untill you get used to it.

fab place beautiful big rooms. a converted convent. Very quiet. Gyor is a wonderful place, really worth exploring. The place is a little tired but that is reflected in the price. Breakfast was fantastic in the original refectory or out in the courtyard.

Very close to the Historic Center, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and rich and varied breakfast.

The reception staff was so kind! The check in process was so easy! We had four bikes, and there was a safe and secure spot for them to be in the courtyard, which was a relief. The room was cute, the building beautiful and old with so much character! It’s in a really great spot to walk to many cute restaurants.
