The building was beautiful, and the staff was excellent. Being from America there was no language barrier at all.

It was fine, other than the TV.

This is my 3rd trip. Every time I've stayed there, I've had problems with the TV. Golden Ball absolutely needs to upgrade their streaming or cable service.

Breakfast, Gym, accommodations. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Maybe, update the gym. I really like working out.

a warren out facility with required maintenance, needs more attentive cleaning especially in the SPA area and Restaurant.

Breakfast has not changed in 10 years, no such thing as continuous improvement there. Food selections need to be upgraded. The pool was only heated one time, and i used it every day. Hot Tub should be renamed Cold Tub, as it was cold everyday, after getting assurances through messaging everything is working, I believe the owner is doing this internationally He should be careful as there are 4-5 hotels in town and most claim thermal pools and restaurants . My fridge was not up to par, foods spoil quickly. These are inexpensive and there is no excuse for this! Also hot water pots have the so-called S/S worn though exposing other metals. TV stations very poor for no Hungarians, no english, should provide Fox News so we can can stay in touch while away. In the US we don't watch CNN because of biased and negative USA reporting

Perfect location of hotel, close to the city center, also to bus station and there was a park with playground in front of the hotel.

Unprofessional services and staff (not aligned with 4 stars hotel). We had a terrible smell in our room.

The breakfast and dinner was delicious, we really enjoyed the spa facility and the fact that the hotel is close to the city center.

Clean and comfy. Very good restaurant. Friendly staff.

It’s close to the bus and train station, pool area was ok, staff were polite and friendly.

Air con didn’t work but thankfully wasn’t too hot. Breakfast was gone from 9am. I looked at other places in town which were better value but paid more for here as it claimed to be 4 star, and to have the pool area. Not worth it.

It was very close to the train station which is amazing, lovely vintage hotel, very clean & the food is AMAZING and the pools are lovely too, which we had them mostly to ourselfes, the seating by the pools are super comfortable!

The only thing we didn’t like was that the bar wasn’t open during the day and only from 4pm which is very weird when it’s 30+ degrees because the only drinks available were in the mini fridge in the room and 2nd thing we didn’t like was that there are no massages available!

Room not that big for price. Lift is at the opposite end of the building from reception. Restaurant bar shut right on 8 oclock. Close to station and town hall but not much else around here.

The location is ok, 10 minutes walk from the pedestrian area- just take the right direction, on the other side is the train and buss station. The SPA is really nice, with several saunas, jacuzzi, a swimming pool. Breakfast is great. Nice staff.

We needed some more space do hank and dry the towels and bathrobes. Some towels and one bathrobe "tired".

The elevator didn’t go to my floor so I had to carry my bags up the stairs the extra level, the air conditioner, quit working in the middle of the night, not enough slope on the shower floor to keep the water in the right area. The dining room was too hot.

dinner situation. Ok we arrive at the restaurant at 7:20 pm when at 8pm restaurant will close. Rudness from waiter who welcome you highlighting the time telling that the lcoation will be close soon.Try to order BBQ ribs, probably duet to the time, the answer was negative. I order a wiener schnitzel with potato salad. Meat was good but potato salad has a very terrifying colour due to the saulse. Beer was served not so cold. Not very clean place. On the wood you can see at least two fingers of dust and tablecloth very very dirty with big stains.Wellness.. one sauna working on two. Cold temperature where normally should be quite warm.Room was clean and very good cured. Mattress too used and not 100% comfortable.

I was a little hesitant to book this hotel because it's a fitness facility and I was worried it would be too noisy. Even though there are raquetball courts and a weight and fitness room, there was no noise. I was very happy with how quiet, peaceful, and tranquil my room was. The hotel is in an excellent location if coming by train. Less than a 5 minute walk from the station! Old town, with pedestrian streets and shopping and cafes is about a 10 minute walk. Everywhere I went the city is very walkable, and hardly any hills. The reception staff spoke English and check in went well. I couldn't find the swimming pool and the clerk left her desk to show me the way! The room was very clean when I arrived and furnished adequately. Decent breakfast served - several juices, a coffee machine that makes different coffees, tea, scrambled or fried eggs, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, pastries, breads. Even tomatoes and cucumbers that I made a sandwich out of! I loved the pool area, I guess it's kind of what I imagine a Turkish bath looks like. A cooler pool, a warmer pool that has jet bubbles on a timer every 15 minutes or so, and a hot tub that also is on a timer for bubbles. There are saunas off the pool area. Lots of deck chairs to relax after a swim.

The air conditioning worked but was very weak. I woke up during the night sweating, even though I had it running on high. The comforter was too hot for summer bedding. My room didn't get cleaned at all during the 3 nights I stayed. I don't require bedding or towels changed, but the floor needed to be vacuumed. I didn't "opt out" of housecleaning and I was out of my room frequently. Plenty of time for a cleaner to pop in for less than 5 minutes for a quick tidy up.

The staff was amazing. Location very convenient when travelling by train. Loved the spa facilities.

Bathroom was a bit smelly, I think coning from the sewage.
