Pros +
- Location!
- The hotel was located just a block away from the Duomo, less than 5 minutes from Violin Museum. There is also a big supermarket in the piazza where the museum is... and lots of local stores and pastry shops are around the Duomo square! It should take 20 minutes or so from the station by walk, and a little more if you have a big luggage. I recommend walking. The bed and pillow was comfy, I had a good sleep after a hard day. It was a nice surprise to find a coffee machine on the desk! Have a sip while you are taking a rest any time of the day...Breakfast room was elegantly furbished. I liked there is a variety of fruits and even scrambled egg. The pastries were delicious. The hotel deserves 4 stars indeed.
- I was there on business. The place is clean everybody’s friendly and no problems. Breakfast was decent cooked well and even had prosciutto. To the left of the exit and the entrance is a bar on the corner you can have a drink or chill with dinner for under €20 across the street as a pizza place as a super thin pie, which is tasty nine bucks for a personal pie, which is very nice Overall town is respectful and a good place for a business trip.
Cons -
- I was in bed and woken up 8 in the morning by one of the cleaning staff... a little embarrassing, but I believe it does not happen usually.
- Nothing. we were very pleased with everything.
- Poor breakfast and furnishings now becoming tired.Still a good hotel in Cremona

Hotel in a wonderful location in a charming city. The staff was welcoming and very helpful, the facility is attractive and well kept, the bed and room was comfortable. Close to everything. Other
We have stayed at this hotel before. If you are in cremona to visit the Museo del Violino this is the spot for you. It is only one block away and you are also very close the the oldest and most historic part of Cremona. the staff is very helpful. The breakfast room has been completely updated since our last visit three years ago. Rooms are a good size and comfortable.
Nothing. we were very pleased with everything.
Excellent location in the center of town, short walk from the car park (hotel is within the ZTL) . Discounted parking of 12 Euro for the night. Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was very nice.
Great location and friendly staff.
Poor breakfast and furnishings now becoming tired.Still a good hotel in Cremona
Location was perfect and the staff and breakfast were both excellent. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely place.
Easy to reach the hotel, great location of the hotel with a parking garage nearby, breakfast good, tipical italian, but could be better with some vegetables for those, who don' t eat sweet breakfasts. Room big enough with very spacious bathroom.
The hotel was nice, clean and central.
Outside the hotel are lots of chairs and tables which weren’t cleaned away during night time so many teenagers gathered there between 11pm and 3am to gather, party, sing loudly and hang out. I called reception at 1:20 am if they could do something about it which they declined. In fairness they offered to swap room but starting to pack suitcases at that hour is not tempting.
The location was great, just a block from the cathedral. Breakfast was substantial. Helpful staff. There’s a somewhat grand appearance to the hotel.
The a/c doesn’t work. Maybe they don’t turn it on until summer. If you wanted a cooler room, it meant opening the window. That’s fine, but I worried mosquitoes would get in. Luckily they had other things to do while I was there.
Good breakfast. Excellent location. Was clean.
Very old fashioned and needs updating. No sound proofing in rooms so you hear everything. Noisy neighbours so had no sleep.
Less than 15min walk from train station and centre of the town. Clean and spacious room and the staff were very friendly.
Lovely art deco style decor in lobby. Staff were really welcoming and friendly
Room decor a bit dated. Lots of street noise at night
Well located. Nice staff. Good value.
Well situated in the center of the town , museums, restaurants and bars within walking distance, rooms are clean and friendly helpful staff.Cremona is the violin city , the old city center is also very beautiful, for authentic Italian food La Sosta is a must.
The hotel was very centrally located and the windows blocked out any noise so there was no trouble sleeping even with a concert going on outside! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious (they even catered for my gluten and lactose intolerances well!).
Only that the room (particularly the shower) was a little small.
Location and staff.
A bit old and uninviting room.
In reality we couldn’t stay at the Impero Hotel. The hotel is under renovation and the staff contacted me back in New York and moved the reservation to the Hotel Dellearti that belongs to the same owner. The Dellearti hotel is a jewel. It is clean, very well maintained and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and they have illy caffe espresso machines. The breakfast is included and it is delicious, healthy and various. I highly recommend this hotel.
N/A we like the hotel 100%
