Heritage Hotel Stypia

This is our second time here and we hope for third time as well. Exceptional staff, cleanliness and food. Beach is across the road and hotel is walking distance to the Crikvenica center, restaurants and shops.

This place was excellent. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, AirCon worked well, extremely dog friendly (provided a bed and bowl), breakfast had many options. Rooms were modern, location was perfect.

The parking situation is a bit weird. You need to drop off your bags at the hotel, follow another car to the parking area (10 min away), and ride back with them. It works, just something to be aware of. As long as you plan to leave the car during your stay, I wouldn’t let this deter you. This place was excellent and since we didn’t need the car this wasn’t a big issue.

Location it’s great, straight at Corso Crikvenica. The breakfast is solid.

The photos do not show the true condition of the Hotel. The hotel has been renovated few years ago, but the materials used are not premium class and the hotel is sold as a Luxury Boutique Hotel. I understand that the Hotel is on first row, but the room has standard ceramic tiles at floor and looks quite cheap. As for the Bathroom, it is really small, so little that when you use the shower, the whole bathroom floats.

Amazing little hotel! The room was clean, spacious, beds were super comfortable, air condition was working smoothly during our stay. The staff is wonderful, definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.Our stay included breakfast too which was also good value for money.

There's a bit of an odd smell on the ground floor.

It was extremely clean, all staff was kind and helpful, across the beach, close to restaurants shops etc.

Hotel is not only pets friendly but there were bowls and a bed for our dog in the room. Nice breakfast, comfy room and very kind and hospitable staff

Everything was good but would be great to have slippers in the room as the floor quite cold.

Good location, nice staff, comfortable bed.I was with a dog (middle-large sized) - no problem at all.

Fee for parking and for the dog was communicated only on the spot, which was not a nightmare, but would be great if it known prior the arrival.

The location of the hotel is outstanding. Right on the promenade, about 20 meters from one of the beaches, next to restaurants...The room is comfortable, spacious, and nicely arranged. Insulation from the outside street is top-notch. Rooms are cleaned daily and cleanliness is of a high standard, as is the whole hotel.The staff is courteous.WiFi is stable, though sometimes a bit slow, but I really can't complain about this. We never experienced the WiFi being down.Parking is on the street in front of the hotel. Through email communication, they couldn't promise me there would be a spot, but upon arrival, there was space. It is charged extra, but that's not so surprising in holiday resorts. Free parking would certainly be a bonus.

Breakfast is average. The same food was served all 7 days of our stay. A recommendation to the management to improve on this point.Also, the terrace with a beautiful view from our room could be improved (2 chairs and a table; a bit of rust on them). It gives the impression that the hotel didn't pay attention to this detail which could enhance the guest's stay.I would agree with one of the previous reviews that the shower doesn't have doors so the water gets everywhere. The hotel doesn't have any additional facilities (or at least we weren't told).There's a feeling that the price is a bit high for what is offered, but we certainly carry fond memories.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel for my honeymoon during the holiday season. While I didn't have extravagant expectations, I did have some hopes for a special experience befitting our romantic occasion. Here's my review:Dining Experience:•Breakfast was acceptable, but nothing more.•During lunchtime, even though there were few guests, getting the attention of a waiter often required practically begging.•Dinner offerings were generally limited to 2 main courses, with the same side dishes and dessert choices (either chocolate pancakes or chocolate brownies) each night. This lack of variety and choice did not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star hotel.Service and Atmosphere:•Some of the staff members were trying their best, but the service lacked a coherent system. At times, they appeared quite inattentive. There was an attempt to attract guests with "Champagne," though this did not seem to enhance the overall experience for guests on a half-board package.•The ambience was affected by simultaneous and conflicting music from various restaurants, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal.•Unfortunately, the promised sea view was obstructed by large trees, which might be beyond the hotel's control, but it's worth noting.Location and Parking:•The hotel's location is decent, right by the beach, although the beach tends to be overcrowded due to its popularity. The hotel is situated in a lively area.•The parking fee of €15 per day seemed excessive, especially considering that my car ended up covered in dirt and bird droppings each day.Overall Impression:While there were a few dedicated staff members who tried to make our stay pleasant, and we did receive a room upgrade, these positives were overshadowed by the shortcomings in dining variety, service, and overall experience. The meals were acceptable but not according to a 4-star level hotel.

Excellent location, the beach is in front of the hotel, restaurants, bars and cafes are also on the promenade in front of the hotel. Everything you need on vacation is walking distance. The hotel is new, the design is luxurious, the breakfast was perfect with wide range of choices. Absolutely recommended!

Great room, friendly staff, perfect location

Shower doesnt have doors so the water gets everywhere but its not a big deal.

Rituals toiletries in the bathroom were a pleasant surprise, a complementary bottle of water, curtains are opaque, AC can be adjusted individually, there is a mini-fridge in the room that doesn't make noise. The pillows and mattress are still new and fluffy.

No tea-making facilities in the room (4* hotel should offer it). Bright blinking light from the smoke detector. The room door did not close properly because the floor on one side was too high, so there was poor sound insulation and corridor light shining at night through the gap between the door and the door frame. Other doors in the hotel all slammed by guests. That woke us up every time. Since all the floors are tiled, you hear every step on your floor and on the floor above. No option to lock the door from the inside.Staff made an impression of being inexperienced

Great location - terrace was beautiful. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean.

Didn’t supply/hire beach towels even though property opposite a beach and in a beach holiday area

Staff was fantastic. Very helpful. Good location. Loved the refrigerator. Had access to the indoor pool at the Hotel Esplanade. Very nice pool.

Cab driver had never heard of the hotel. Dropped me off at the Miramare.

Lovely location. Clean accommodation. The beach was right across the road.

We paid for half board and we didn´t enjoy that dinner had only 3 options for the main course (fish, pizza (Margherita/ Capri), and a burger). Starter and dessert were without a choice. One evening there was only an option of a pizza and burger. However, I am allergic to gluten and my cousin to lactose and because of that we were able to get a different main course (chicken and fries) and if it was possible to adjust the food to our allergies then they did that too.

Nice,modern new hotel. Excellent location.

The breakfast was not so variable for us. But it is just a personal preference.
