    Pros +

    • Nothing really expensive for nothing
    • Near to the office and the hotel is located in a good locality with walking distance to good restaurants
    • Close to the office and they own a beer Gartez which is an added advantage if people love to drink and hangout

    Cons -

    • Not clean rooms are not equipped heater didn’t. Work
    • Cleanliness and maintenance is far less to desired in some rooms the walls are dirty in some rooms the faucets are not clean or completely jammed some rooms do not have hangers at all or they are just handmade hangers with wires, when the cost of the rooms are so high then the amenities should be up to the mark
    • Nothing much the rooms are good , but cleanliness is far from being observed Also there is no fan attest it should be kept as a facility it is so hot now in Augsburg without a fan it will be difficult to stay in the room

Nice quiet location, very friendly staff.

The bunk bed was loose and very creaky, it might be worth tightening up. The shower leaks a little from the bottom of the enclosure.

Internet connection was ok, the bed was comfy, shower was really nice and new.

Some furtniture were damaged, the floor was not vacuum cleaned properly. I especially chose hotel with parking but it has to be booked in advance, because they dont have many spots. The parking at the street is cheap, but there is also almost impossible to find a free spot, moreover you‘ll get a ticket when parking outside if you dont have the Umweltplakette.

Staff - extremely friendly Location - centrally located with grocery store, bakery and restaurants nearby

Room was a bit too small and dusty

    8JonathanPosted on: 10-22-2024

The room had a great bed and was clean.

The shower seemed to have been recently renovated, and mistakes were made. The glass enclosure of the shower did not reach all the way to the floor, so the entire bathroom floor was flooded if we did not line the exterior of the shower area with towels. It was just a sloppy mess, not something one wants to deal with in a hotel room. Other than that the room was fine.

Relatively central, quiet location; possibility to use garage; cleanliness.

Lack of receptionist upon arrival, very small bathroom,

    Staff were great and friendly.

Room is quite small and upon checking in, it’s quite dusty.

    Location

The place was run like the hotel in Fawlty towers sitcom. Loud arguments at the reception between hotel manager and staff.. my room had t been cleaned or attended to in 6 days until I complained I needed clean sheets. I stayed 10 days and my sheets were changed once in that time. My overhead shower wasn’t functioning and when I notified the manager he yelled at me asking if I was able to get water out of the hand held shower head, to which I replied yes, then he said well you have water. They spent the entire 10 days fixing my shower.

Hotel situated near city center, room small but well equipped, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast

    7AljaPosted on: 8-26-2024

The room was very nice, and the staff was kind, hotel was easy to find. Room was nice and it also had a balcony, which was a nice surprise. There was also a lift, albeit a bit small (fits 2 people with luggage), WiFi was great. 10 minute walk to the sights and fun restaurants. Included room service as well, since we came back to our beds made in the evening. Amazing view from the room, perfect for a morning coffee while watching the sunrise or an evening beer watching the sunset. Breakfast was optional (extra pay), but we didn't decide on that and opted for snacks in the centre.

On the booking.com listing it stated that the parking reservation is not possible, but once we arrived at the hotel, the staff told us that we had to have reserved the parking spot. Luckily, one spot was still free, so we could park without reservation. When we arrived, only the cleaning(?) lady was there, no receptionist, who checked us in, but she struggled with English, so there was a bit confusion with both the parking and check in. I would've like the possibility of no room service, to reduce the work for the staff. No mini fridge in the room.

    Clean room

Ventilation is very less and no centralized AC or provision of Cooling methods, we are not nomads, after a long days work did not feel like coming to the room as it was really hot.

    5DivyaPosted on: 7-24-2024

There were no pedestal Fans available in Hot summer days and flipping Windows to get some fresh air is a bad idea as it opens directly to the street so it's noisy and you easily invite mosquitoes.

    10PierrePosted on: 3-2-2024

Calm, clean and close to the city center

    8FrederiquePosted on: 11-8-2023

Little hotel, good location, warm welcome, great breakfast, modern room, calm.

    6ArnoldPosted on: 8-25-2023

The location was good. It was only about 15 minute walk to the main square. The rooms had been updated recently and the bathrooms were nice looking.

The rooms were very small. With the beds situated, there was only a small walkway. One of our rooms had a bunk bed but the rail of the top bunk was broken and therefore not able to be safely used, so one of our kids had to sleep on the floor. We visited in August and it was very hot. This was the only hotel in our travels that did not provide at least a fan for us to use. You either had to have a stifling room or open the window to have a little bit less hot room but listen to the busy road. The gentleman told us that Germany is only hot a couple a days a year so they don't need fans (we have been traveling around Germany for 3 weeks and it has been hot every day we have been here). The check in process was fine once the gentleman actually showed up. It says check in was at 2pm, but there was no one there and a note saying to call them. However, we do not have a working phone in Europe so we had to get the cleaning lady to call.

Really everything. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been in (and I’ve seen a lot). Nice little hotel, perfect location, very friendly personel and with a wonderful ‘biergarten’.

    Nothing. Really.
