Altstadthotel Augsburg

I love the location of the hotel. It was centrally located. I love the hospitality of the staff. Very accommodating.

The location is very good in the heart of the city, The Hotel also is very good with nice ambience and a very friendly staff. I would recommend and probably stay there if I'm in Augsburg again.

The Facilities are little old but that's obvious like my shower door was broken but the staff fixed it as soon as possible so all in all it's a very good stay .

Great breakfast.

Parking was an issue. Two-person elevator.

Pleasant receptionist. Clean bathroom. No bugs.

My single room was hot and poorly ventilated. Carpet worn. One old upright chair to sit on. Minimal breakfast.

our room was right by the parking spaces, on the ground floor. A lot of noise in the morning.

The staff were really friendly. Our room was clean and very spacious, although the bathroom was not. Only few power sockets, but I don't use the telly, so I plugged it off for another socket. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location of the hotel is great: central, but very quiet.

The bathroom was badly planned. The exit of the shower cubicle faced the toilet, you have to climb across it to be able to have a shower or get out of it. This is impossible for people with restricted abilities. Other than that everything was fine.

This hotel is located close to the heart of Augsburg, and easily accessible from the main station. The price was reasonable.

Staff is stationed at the reception during limited hours. Power outlets in my room was a bit inconvenient. More specifically, no power outlets were found near the desk and outlets on an extension cord were occupied.

The location was not far from the railway station and easily found. I was given a large room on the ground floor.The street was quiet at night and generally near the quiet end of the main street.

Hard to fault.

The staff were lovely. Rooms were cosy and very clean. Also really handy to the town and train station..

Some of my observations:- very good location in city center- very good breakfast - friendly and helpfully staff- underground parking nearby for extra 10 euro/night

There was no AC in the room and this summer was very hot in Europe, we needed to sleep with windows opened and because of rude guests that check out early in the morning (4-5:00AM) we didn't sleep well

Nice place, but in warm weather the top floor is hellishly hot, no air conditioning, only a fan, but not enough!Otherwise, it is in a quiet and super central location.Put on air conditioner please :)

Nice old hotel in the Altstadt, nice rooms, helpful staff, nice breakfast. Parking in nearby garage. Great value for money.

Spacious and comfy room at good location, good value for money at that very moment (around Euro 2024 and Intersolar 2024 the rooms in Munich were too expensive).

Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, the shower was nice and powerful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The doorway from the street to the car park at the back which you are required to go through when coming back at night, is difficult to open. More than once we were worried about not being able to get in. It also concerned me that the back door to the hotel was tricky to unlock and this is meant to be a fire escape route.

The location was great!The room offered us is amazing!We can see the beautiful street from the window!All great but the WiFi.

Great location, easy access, super service upon arrival, friendly staff, comfortable beds.

Hotel is located in the heart of the city and about 800m away from the main station.

Room was not too big and furnitures was old. Beds were too soft.

The room was clean but basic. The wifi was fine, despite reading previous reviews. The location is on a quiet side street, but close to a number of bars and restaurants.. There's a "Norma" supermarket close by. It's a short walk to the centre but the area itself is quite lively.

The fridge (mini bar) wasn't working. I reported it, but no one came to fix it despite saying they would. The shower was very small and there was nowhere to put soap, shampoo etc.

Great location in Augsburg super friendly staff! For a couple night stay it was fantastic

Having a room next to the elevator was quite noisy, and the rooms did lack some basic amenities however with breakfast it was alright.
