Our bathroom door would not close and the staff did not address it.

Cleanliness of the room, Sheets were never changed over 3 nights 4 days. Never vacuumed No shampoo was provided Bed pillows sub standard with no casing and cheap lowest standard Duvet was lowest standard ( awful)

We enjoyed the our stay, our meals at the restaurant, the very nice room, the service and the helpful staff

We were given an upgrade through Booking .com to a superior room which was just fabulous, spacious and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful and breakfast buffet was excellent. We would stay again!

High prices in the bar for cocktails and liquor.

I thought breakfast was expensive and would have liked a choice of simple lower cost breakfast. The quality of the buffet breakfast was great however.

Fantastic location and very nice hotel - parking was convenient.

The AC was awful—one room was extremely hot, and even with a fan provided in the middle of the night, it didn’t help. We specifically chose this hotel for the AC, so it was disappointing. We were able to switch rooms after the first night, but the AC was still subpar.

Best location in Augsburg. Large luxury hotel with good facilities. Easy to reach by car and good parking garage. Great breakfast

No doorman for luggage

Our room was large, comfortable and quiet despite being in the historic center of the city. Included breakfasts were delivious, varied, and somolentiful that we skipped lunch! The on-site parking garage was a bonus, albeit pricey.

The €24/day upcharge for parking.

Good location, nice Staff

The Deluxe Suite is just one long room with sliding doors in between, but the doors do not shut, so you hear everything in all "rooms" of the suite. Also you can not regulate the temperature.

Beautiful and clean property with character. The staff were excellent.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Very good room service and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Recommend big time!

There were no negatives at all

It was a lovely and modern hotel that was very clean. The rooms were lovely and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was nice and luxurious and the service was brilliant. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the variety of things that were offered. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Only a tiny thing- there was an envelope left by the room service team indicating that we should leave a tip. Whilst this is often expected, it was very overt and very American, despite being in Germany

It is Superb.Unbeatable location in the main avenue with grandeur. Beautiful property perfectly maintained. Our suite was stunning, comfortable, full of amenities, with gorgeous details and a grand view. Service everywhere was perfect, efficient, kind, warm.I would go as far as to say that you need to stay at this hotel to fully experience the essence of Augsburg. It is one of those cities where your stay at the hotel is the first and nicest memory that will come to your head once you’re back home.

Everything is perfect.The only thing not to like about this hotel is having to leave at the end of your stay. Haha

Great location, good breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very spacious and our dog was made very welcome.

It was December and our room was cold. We were given a space heater to help warm it up, but this is something you don't expect from a five-star hotel. Despite this, we would definitely go again.

A fresh property located in the heart of the city, and an easy choice when visiting Augsburg for leisure or business. We had an overall positive experience. The breakfast was tasty, and select dishes of the Room Service menu were excellent. We will certainly return: especially if the below feedback is welcomed and addressed.- I recommend trying out their pre-arrival room upgrade offer, which few other hotels even try to offer, it worked just fine even if it came with 5 additional emails, and we did have a very nice room.

Considering this is a 5-Star Property: - The doorman welcome felt forced and we had to specifically ask for the valet service. The breakfast team need additional service training, but they try and it's a good but busy breakfast. - The best selling item on the food menu at a luxury hotel is very often The Burger. The Burger we ordered via Room Service was an insult to any burger with the bun being hard as a brick. Yes, we should have complained, but traveling with small children you have to pick your fights carefully. (we did mention it at check-out, and the team missed the opportunity to make any amends). On the other hand, the healthy chicken salad was delicious. Just by improving The Welcome and the The Burger, which the hotel should re-launch as their new best pick of the menu, they will immediately improve their overall standing.

The bed was amazing, big and super comfy, also the bathroom, elegant and with a very good shower. The position of the hotel is perfect. I traveled with my dog and they provide a big cushion for her, a steel bowl for the water and they also gave me a pack with dog treats

Beautiful hotel in the center of Augsburg. Large-size, well-appointed rooms. "Champagne breakfast" with an excellent selection of food. Valet parking (€24). Located on the main street with a short walk to all attractions.

Everything was perfect.

Hotel Maximilian is the best hotel ever. We traveled a lot but this is the no 1 for us. I love everything here. The rooms are great, the bathrooms...large, clean. I feel like home.I remember one night we came from a long driving way, tired, it was cold outside, and after a few minutes we entered the room, a lady came and asked us if we needed more towels or water to drink. It was the maximum sign of care that we received from a hotel ever.
