Holiday Inn Express Augsburg By IHG

Bedroom was very comfortable, new and clean. There was a free crib for our baby with nice bed linen. Our little dog got snacks from the staff and was really welcomed at the hotel. There was coffee and tea in the room. Soap was good quality and very fragrant. Location was great, 20 minutes on foot from the Rathaus and very close to a big shopping center. Parking was directly behind the hotel. There were ice machines in the lobby, to get ice for free.

Breakfast could have more options, especially fruit, juice, hams and pastries.

Breakfast was ok - had all the essentials. Boiled egg, scrambled, coffee, yougurt, fruits, ham/cheese. Scrambled eggs were a bit dry. Breakfast working hours in the weekends was good (till 11h30).

Nothing to comment.

Location, price

Room size, less variety in breakfast

Easy checkin/out. Great communication. Close to the mall and food. Love that they have parking and breakfast was amazing!

Bathroom is great. Rooms are clean. Very quiet.

Bye bye, to german punctuality. Very slow check-in. They claimed that check-in will be possible at 14 o'clock firm and made us wait untill 14:30. No fridge in the room. The room was very dark. Address pointed in booking is located 300 meters from the hotel according google maps.

Room is clean comfortable and functional designed, nice little bathroom with great showerFriendly and helpful personell at receptionGreat breakfast included

Room, reception, staff were all good.

The space allocated for breakfast felt very makeshift by

Good Breakfast.

Small size room. Payment for the parking.

We couldn’t sleep at all no air conditioning we ask about that they said it’s not working they had technical issues.the gave us a key to open up the window and it was very loud so we couldn’t sleep at all

Location, cleanliness, great room and bathroom, parking

Very friendly staff, clean room and parking at the hotel. The breakfast was very nice and restocked very often. Very close the center of the city, making it easy to get there.

Sink in the bathroom was a bit high.

Good value for the money. Excellent when you travel and need to stay overnight. Newer hotel and everything is neat and clean. The breakfast that is usually included in the price is very good and fits the purpose. . We always gladly come back when we travel. .

Parking is usually full when you arrive later but there is a lot of free parking overnight around the hotel so we did not find this as a big issue. Indoor paying secure parking is available nearby as well.

The breakfast was good, the staff was nice and they had good English, the room clean

The location is a bit far from the city center although it's close to the mall. Parking is expensive (15 Euros per night)

Good location - close to the city centre, breakfast in form of a buffet, spacious room, kettle and tea set included.

Staff mistake, Double charge

I was booking and already payment. When I had check in the staff charge me again and change status on my booking that "No show". It's waste my time to contact for refund.

Breakfast was great, location perfect - everyting reachable by foot. Parking was outside, despite I have tought it going to be garage there, but however, parking was good. If parking lot is full, you can park in City Galerie.

Poor wi-fi - slow speed. We didn't get connected rooms, despite we asked for it, they haven't been not even in the same floor.

Lovely clean quiet property. Great staff.

Well presented, good-size room for a modern hotel. Everything worked. Good walk-in shower. Extensive free breakfast. Busy shopping mail just steps away. On-site car park.

Very nice staff, good breakfast. Location close to the city center.

Beds could be a little wider.

Poor management, unprofessional staff,

Very poor management for a chain hotel. We came down to change the room and the room cleaning lady stolen our money in only 15 min. When we complained they did not take any action. We asked to see the manager who refused to give us her name( the lady with dark complexion) most probably not german origin she did not help and said our staff did not do it without doing proper investigation. We asked to see the general manger Mrs. Liane whom we got her name on the board on the wall she also refused to meet us. They showed No value and respect for the guests. We wanted to change the hotel at the same time but unfortunately we could not get confirmation since most of the hotel sold out. They did not clean our room for 4 days and we used the same towels , and trash was in the room 4 days and everyday we complained and they simply did not care. This poor management team spoiled the reputation of the chain hotel . The hotel has good location but not safe to stay because of their staff stealing the guest belongings.
