B&B Hotel Augsburg-Süd

It is a chain hotel. Knew what to expect for a short stop-over. Quiet although on busy road. Metro into town approx 200m; mainline station 400m.

A kettle in the room would be useful.

As arrived at 17.00 hrs, at the rear car park, in most of the windows there was washing drying. It appeared that there were people actually living there. We made the assumption that it was immigrants. We were not happy with this situation so at 17.15hrs we cancelled our booking. We had free cancellation till 18.00 hrs.

Great location, safe parking & good size room.

Close to the town. Tram operates in front of the hotel.

No shopping. In fact no shopping around the town of Ausburg. We walked about 2 miles to the town and back, not one shop we saw open to buy drink or eat.

Very comfortable hotel for short stay with good location.

the late check-in terminal didn't work at the entrane, but this can happen.

The location price and breakfast were all great! Staff were super friendly and it was super clean.

Desk clerk, room, parking.

Noisy tram passing by every ten minutes.

The size of bathroom was good.

The entry door and the room door were so heavy and not suitable for a wheelchair user.And the bed was so narrow and the walls were thin so I was able to hear everything loud and clear during the night.

The room, the shower and bathroom is clean and is absolutely sufficient. This stay I booked the breakfast and it was well worth it. However, it is definately a good idea to show up early for breakfast, otherwise the cold cuts, cheese and bread (Brötchen) are gone. The coffee machine offers a sufficient range of coffee options and the coffee is really good. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I will definately book again.

I had asked for a room on the 2nd floor with window to the parking lot, but I got a room on the 1st floor and the window to the street. Next time, I will book directly with B&B Süd.

Very nice room, exceeded my expectations for a B&B. Only the breakfast was under my expectations for that rates. Big parking lot, free for the hotel.

The ham from the breakfast and the cleanliness outside the hotel. In was clean in the hotel, but dirty outside.

Clean, good parking lot, view on the parking lot (opposite to the street). Perfect to stay overnight.

No restaurants in the closest vicinity.

Great hotel - booked at last minute when we dint make our destination that day because of traffic problems. We were on a roadtrip across Europe in a classic car - 1968 MGC Roadster (https://linktr.ee/meandmymgc).The place was ideal - simple but functional. The staff were great and helped us navigate our way to the city centre for beer and dinner. Overall great place to stay and would highly recomend.

Was nice place to stay, New building nice free parking place. 5 mints away from Center with the car.

It was next to the main road and train email which was very noisy. Do next time I will avoid taking room facing the road side.

We’ve enjoyed the B&B hotels. Clean, modern and good service from the front desk. Ample parking in the rear. Augsburg was no exception. Comfortable stay, with generous checkout time.

It’s not quite central but we did not mind that since we were with a car, otherwise there is also a convenient tram line. Maybe a mini fridge in the room would be appreciated.

It could be cleaner. Despite the fact, that hotel has 2 stars, moldiness in bathroom could be removed

Good value for money, very friendly reception. And it was perfect that we as a tired hungry family, were allowed to use the restaurant seating area with our take out meal, also allowed to use the crockery etc. from the hotel. That made a huge difference to us!

The rooms were clean and we had all we needed. The hotel was right next to the train and very close to a stop which made it convenient to the city. There was a parking lot for hotel guests in the rear.

The room did not have controls to turn adjust the heat, so we were very hot during the night. The window did open; however, being next to the train and street, it was hard to sleep with the intermittent noise.
