    Pros +

    • Cleanliness.
    • Fantastic mattresses, spotless, new, everything functioned. Quiet.
    • The room itself was adequate. Wifi worked well. Shower worked well. The staff was very friendly. The bed itself was comfortable. The room was quiet. Parking on site is good.

    Cons -

    • there was no small fridge or Microwave, the showers had no curtains to limit the spray of water into the sink area, no extra garbage cans in the bedroom area, no place to put damp towels to dry. no shower matts. bed head boards would be a great addition.
    • Staff told a story about parking--upon our arrival, we waited for staff to raise gate to enter the parking lot. No one answered the buzzer, so after some minutes we phoned. Staff told us we were at the service gate (?, main road) and needed to pay to enter--ok, what's the problem?? It was dark and terrible weather. Guests don't deserve such a welcome to a hotel. Please train your staff to welcome guests inside first, then explain parking fees.
    • The location wasn't the best. A long walk to get to the streetcar. The pillows were too soft, and I got a stiff neck from them. The bathroom is very small.

The location is not too far from the Universitary Clinic of Agsburg, which is the main reason I stayed there (the hotel is 30 to 40 minutes away from the city center by bus or tram, so keep that in mind). The staff is helpful. The rooms are relatively clean. If you have a car, the hotel has a big parking lot. You can check-in yourself using the terminals in the lobby. The internet is quite decent for downloads and uploads.

The rooms are pretty small and come in different configurations: some have a separate toilet and shower that share a sliding door, which is a bit awkward; others have a big complete bathroom. Some rooms also face the building next door, so the window has no view whatsoever. The doors are easy to slam, and if it's a door close by, your whole room will shake (I almost got a heart attack multiple times because my neighbors kept slamming the door violently and constantly). You'll also hear the neighbors if they are noisy. The reception is closed on Sundays until later in the day (but you can check-in yourself using the terminals). The rooms smell a bit musty. The breakfast "to go" consists of two loaves of bread, butter, one apple, one yogurt and one coffee. Unless you have a car, you'll have to walk quite a bit to get to the tram and even more if you need a decent supermarket.

Helpful staff. Spotlessly clean room. Great for a one night stopover.

You have to physically check in at reception and pay for parking before you get a code to open the barrier to the carpark.

Rooms are stylish and have everything you need. The prices in the vending machines are reasonable.

We arrived at 23.03, reception closed at 23.00There was somebody still standing at the desk but he ignored us trying to get his attention for help with getting into the car park.I didn't mind having a self checkin but was really frustrated that we could not gain entrance to the car park, meaning we had to go search for parking on the side streets. We called both lines connected to the machine at the entrance of the car park and no one answered. We also called the emergency number and again no one answered. That is really not ok and there is no reason you couldn't have supplied us with the code to the car park in advance.

    Tv, nice shower, calm

After my second night, I went to the reception to ask if it was possible to cancel one night from one of the two rooms I had reserved and receive a refund. In total, I had booked five nights. The receptionist told me he wasn’t aware of such a possibility. When I asked about the hotel's cancellation policy, he said he didn’t know it. I then asked if I could speak to his manager, but he informed me that the manager wasn’t available and that I needed to send an email with my request.I found it very strange that I was being asked to send an email while I was speaking to a staff member in person. His explanation made no sense to me, and to my surprise, he even told me to write a “nice” email and to “beg” for a refund for that one night. I told him clearly that I wasn’t going to beg for my money—I just wanted a clear and honest answer about the hotel’s policy. After some more back and forth, he finally told me that he had checked and that if I cancelled the night before 7:00 PM, I would be eligible for a refund. I followed his instructions and sent the email. However, one hour later I received a response saying that a refund was not possible. When I returned to the hotel later that afternoon, I discovered that I had been checked out without any notice. I immediately went to the reception to ask what had happened. At first, the receptionist refused to help me, saying he was on his break and I had to wait. I refused and insisted that he immediately reactivate my room. He eventually did, but told me that I had cost him his break. The fact that I had to drive two hours back and forth to resolve this issue didn’t seem to matter to him at all.I also tried to reach him by email and phone afterward, but received no reply. As a result, I was forced to return to the hotel in person to find out what was going on.The worst part of all was that when I finally got back into the room, I realized that housekeeping hadn’t even cleaned it.

It is a neat clean place , but was pricey may be due to the exhibition/ trade fair.

Great place to stay while I was visiting my family in Augsburg.Clean rooms ,friendly staff and parking place. All recommendation.

This is a hotel designed for overnight stays when you're just passing through: the facilities are minimalist (small rooms, with little space to store your belongings) but sufficient for a good night's sleep (the bedding is excellent).

No on-site breakfast available. Fortunately, there's an excellent (and very large) bakery nearby.

Easy access and occupation of the room, good size of room

    Small bed!

More or less this is now my base when I am comming into Augsburg.Free parking place ,friendly staff at the reception ,pizza place and several restaurants, no more than 50 meters from hotel ,Shell ,Jet and Aral gas stations are accross the road (area of former US military base -closed sometimes in 1970-s ).University Klinik is 15 minutes away from hotel by walk and 10 minutes walk to station where you can get local tram 2 to the city center (20 minutes ride ).All recommendation.

    Disappointing

After I paid at the machine, there was no one at the reception and I waited 1 hour to be able to enter the room because I didn't have the pin! Very disgusting???

It was very clean and cosy, very friendly staff and very good location. Very fresh.

only one thing. Shower room and toilet sharing. Although it's quite manageable. Also no bin in the room

    Superb

Very poor breakfast, just cofee, tee and a crossaint….

    7MariaPosted on: 12-9-2024

The hotel was clean, quite new furniture etc.

The rooms are very small, but this would not be an issue. There is one mobile door both for the shower room. and for the toilet, so that would be quite uncomfortable during the stay (especially if someone is using the shower or the toilet).

I arrived at 10:30 PM and there was no one at the reception and I had to find another hotel with difficulty. I will never go to this bad hotel again.????

    Very bad
