Our first room didn’t have AC and was uncomfortable. Was told to open the window, but it couldn’t be opened even by staff. The room was unclean with dust buildup behind nightstands. Carpet had dust buildup around the edges adjacent to baseboards. Finally had to move to a different room, which was okay.

Clean, nice facilities and common areas. Lovely gift shop (of all things!) and a nice happy hour at the bar, overlooking the harbor.
Nothing really; the location is about equidistant from the train and the historic center but not super close to either one so there’s not much going on right around the hotel itself if you’re on foot.
Breakfast is very good especially the Japanese restaurant.Location is pretty good , near to Mount Hakodate. Nearby lots of shops/attraction.

This hotel is nice, but it was overpriced. It was very expensive (over 300 USD per night) and the room was not so fancy. The hotel has an incredible view of the mountain and the harbor, which was really nice. The staff were super friendly.

Great location in center of Hakodate, walking distance to great restaurants and train station (and city tram). Parking right in back of hotel. Standard, good quality modern hotel rooms with very comfy beds. Nice onsen on top floor (women's one was very crowed, as it's small relative to size of hotel) with nice views. Buffet breakfast was enormous and incredibly diverse. Super friendly and helpful staff. Ice and vending machines convenient on our floor.

The sheltered parking was completely blocked and cordoned off, even when it was empty. Guests had to park at the unsheltered area and had to slip and slide on the icy road to their cars.Onsen view was completely blocked with condensation.

Beside a slightly far from the train station 650m, everything is good.
