FAV HOTEL HAKODATE

What a fantastic hotel. The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes from the train station and right near the markets, great eating areas and trams. The room was spacious, well laid out and having a kitchenette to make breakfast was ideal. The hotel and rooms were so clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and our stay in general just had a great vibe. Will be looking for future Fav properties when travelling in Japan and elsewhere. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Location. Modern. Comfortable and roomy.

This is my 3rd time starting here and I will continue to stay here everyone I am in Hakodate. My absolute favorite hotel chain.

The location was great! Everything that we was looking to do was either walking distance or a short cab ride away. We got there and was greeted and assisted by Goro! She was amazing!!

Not much to say about this. We were very pleased with the staff and accommodations.

Excellent location. Large sized room. Great little kitchenette.

Noisy. We easily heard the other guests stomping around. Bathroom stinks of cigarettes smoke. This should be a smoke free room, but obviously there were smokers in the bathroom using the fan to ventilate. It stinks up the whole bathroom.

Beds were a little firm

Just a few minutes from the JR Hakodate station which was really convenient. Hakodate isn't terribly large compared to many other cities we visit so didn't take long to walk to most places we wanted to see. Room was very different to what we normally see with a stylish layout and lighting and a microwave in the kitchenette which was great.

The staff, whilst friendly, seemed fairly unorganised on a couple of occasions, and the breakfast option was very below standard compared to other hotels.

Conveniently located near the train station for day trips. Near restaurants and not far from the Motomachi District. Hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. The en-suite onsen is great. Staff are friendly.

Room is very modern and new.

Shower curtain was incredibly moldy, staff was not the best and was not super helpful with anything. The room layout was really an issue - there's a step to the bed that people in my family kept on tripping over and hurting themselves. The whole hotel was disorganized - they had issues with linens the first night and mentioned they had no idea when my room would be available. Next night they had issue with towel service.

The room was the best we've had in Japan. We had 4 people and everyone got a bed and we were able to hang out in the room due to more space.

Great location!Kids loved the bunk bed rooms. Convenient check in and check out. Bunkbed room had a kitchenette which was helpful with kids!

The most satisfying thing for my whole Hakodate trip. The room is exactly what posted on the website and even beyond. It’s so cozy and spacious, not only for the bedroom but also the bathroom! The view from the window is nice too. And there’s well equipped tableware. Not even mentioned the location, it’s super close to the JR station and many restaurants and cvs around. I mean it’s flawless! It’s my first time wanna stay in the hotel instead of wandering around in the city lol

Modern new interiors. Very spacious living and bathroom spaces for the studio rooms. Ideal for families with bunk beds and kitchen facility. 2 blocks from seafood market and 3 minute walk from tram station.

Early checkout 10am whereas most Japan hotels are 11am and noon checkout. Laundry machines (combined wash/dry units) did not dry clothes well and couldn’t figure out how to do extra dry only cycle. Fortunately clothes dried in time after hanging them for 24 hours.

The hotel is very conveniently located as it's just a stone's throw from the famous morning market. Bathroom is spacious and clean. The room was well designed (with 2 bunk beds which are cool for kids) so it could accommodate 5 people without feeling confined. There are small fridges, microwave, etc so it's convenient for family.

No shower cap provided. No breakfast (but it's no big deal as we could eat at the morning market).

Small boutique hotel in Hakodate quite close to the train station and a short walk to the historical areas of Hakodate. Very clean and modern. Plenty of restaurants close by.
