Washer & dryer inside every room! The view!

I think the building was newish and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was spectacular looking over the bay. Also, there was a washing/dryer in the room.but the dryer shrunk our clothes because we dried it twice since it was still damnp.

The outdoor onsens are fantastic! The lounge just one floor below is a perfect place to relax afterward with a drink or ice cream. The views from there are also incredible as are the views from each of the rooms.

The room and the service of Tokyu Stay Hakodate was amazing. I can honestly say that my family and I were very happy with our choice to stay here. The location to the town and all the major sights was superb and the accommodations, view, and the staff were fantastic. The view of the ocean from the room we stayed at was breathtaking. In addition to a luxurious private tub that has a large window that can open up for natural air, the onsen of the hotel was also tattoo friendly which was a huge plus as a foreigner with tattoos visiting.

We liked the convenient location, access to JR station and morning market. The warmth of the lobby and rooms were wonderful coming in from the cold.

I understood what we were going into with breakfast vouchers but it still would be nice to have simple breakfasts.

Excellent service, small room but comfortable and equipped with everything one would need, appreciated the complimentary drink in top-floor lounge that had beautiful view of the surroundings, good value.

Small room for two people but hard to complain given all the other good points and price point.

This was a beautiful, new property literally in the Hakodate Morning Market, and just a short walk from Hakodate Station, the Red Brick Warehouses and even Motomachi. Large rooms, friendly staff and a far price if booked in advance.

Great location - just a few minutes walk from the train station and next to the morning market. A washer/dryer in every room makes it perfect for a longer stay.

Spacious room and good location.

I booked 3 rooms for 4 friend and familiy members and paid breakfast additionally for every morning. However, when I checked in, front desk staff informed me that the hotel did not have restaurant and guests could go out to the "morning market" to have Japanese style meal -- 朝食 (choshoku) in 1 of the 19 nominated restaurants. This supposed to be a great experience. However, the Japanese style breakfasts served better for lunch (they don't have breakfast time frame) and we spent only 1 time for lunch and prefered to get bread and coffee from convenient store nearby as breakfast. This is nothing wrong with the hotel, but I hope Booking.com can have it clearly stated when customers make booking.

Room was clean but it smelled like fish and too small to walk around as one side of the bed was against the wall.

Remove the odor from room.

The hotel is convenient for the train station and right next door to the Hakodate Morning Market. The view from my room on the 8th floor was stunning--water, forested hills and the small boat harbor. And the onsen on the top floor is a great place to relax.

It would be nice if the hotel offered breakfast, even a simple continental breakfast. I found the coffee made by their machines to be undrinkable.

beautiful room, helpful staff, and convenient location. in-room laundry was wonderful. soundproof rooms i think.

It is alongside the water, so it is quiet. The view from the lounge and balcony is magnificent and quiet in the morning. The onsen is located on the top floor and has an open area that looks out into the city, which is nice. It was not crowded and well maintained. The room is on the larger side for Japan and had a lot of amenities, including a shoe dryer which came in handy when we got soaked in a short rain storm. It also comes with a washer/dryer in every room with detergent and a guide on how to use the machine. It was helpful in the middle of the trip to be able to wash some clothes before heading on the rest of the trip as well as everything that got soaked during the rain. The location of the hotel is very convenient - within walking distance from the JR station and bus terminal. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Warehouse District if you don't want to wait for the bus, which does a loop around the area. It is also right by the fish markets and restaurants.

There are only 2 elevators so there can sometimes be a wait to get to your floor. The shower curtain in our room smelled musty and a little mildewy. We were only there for 2 nights so it was a small problem to deal with.

The location, the washing machine and breakfast coupons. Onsen is a plus. Outstanding! Well worth everything!

Great location, view from window, rooftop onsen...

This is an affordably-priced hotel, and it isn't glamorous. It's a clean and tidy place to sleep while you explore the city. For the price it is excellent. The washer/dryer in-room is a big feature. I would recommend staying here.

Location and Staff. We can just walking to go interesting places like Restaurants, Morning Market, and other facility city provide.

the size of the room. for us it a little bit small.

Great hotel. Fantastic location for tourists with in-room kitchenette and laundry. New towels every day - we just need to put the sign on our door. Fairly large and clean room with a great layout (twin room).

No daily trash pick up.
