Breakfast was very good. Rooms were big but very old style

The hotel was really old. The amenities were there but were old. Everything from the lighting to the decor was of a bygone era. Hotel was spacious but the amount charged didn’t justify it.For a lesser price, it would have been reasonable. The images of the room are enhanced in the listing.

As free parking was a priority for me, this hotel was really worth the price! the parking was easy, room was spacious, and I really loved the spacious bathroom.

I prefer a thicker pillow, but this is not a deal breaker

Hotel with a rocambolesque rococo style.Rooms were pretty kitch but in the right way.On our last night we were woken up by the staff at 6:30 in the morning, and asked to pay for our room even tho it was paid already.The lady then insisted and knocked at our door several times!! Honestly catastrophic behavior. Who would wake customers up at 6:30 AM???

Worth the stay just for the cool old design! This place must have been something in the 80s. Like a time capsule, old but in a cool way and not worn out. Not sure if it was shut for a while preserving everything or it's just the Japanese respect for other peoples property.

Small issue but power point locations. Understandable given it would have been high tech when built.

Breakfast was delicious and filling for a day exploring the mountains. The bath tub + sauna in the room was the most pleasant surprise, so relaxing! I wish we have had an extra night there!

Room was big and comfortable. Location is a bit off the main strip but easily walkable. During winter with luggage, you definitely need to take a taxi from the train station.For an included breakfast, it's quite good! Also had complimentary welcome whiskey from a machine.

Staff were almost non-existent. Everything feels a little run down but was perfectly comfortable.

Big shower, and the room itself is clean.Breakfast was good.

You can not unlock the door from inside quickly. This seems like a big fire hazard.Also there is only one light switch in the back of the room so you can not turn on the light when you enter the room.Unfortunately our blanket had many stains which made it a bit uncomfortable.Also for what every reason there is a DJ Booth in the Room?

Spacious and well equipped. Breakfast serves local delicious Japanese food. Old building but well decorated and stylist design

Ran out of hot water at the lobby. No welcome drink as promised. Japanese lady at the counter ignore us when we requested for water. Some light switches not working in the room.

This place is a scame! I you don't speak Japanese don't go there! We tried to reach them by phone and they answer they don't speak English and Slammed the phone roughly as many times we tried to reach them. We ended up not going. We paid for the 2 nights because they didn't agree for the cancellation refund (we tried through booking, beacuse its impossible to speake with them). Totally a scame.

This place is not suites for tourist

The breakfast was nice. A proper Japanese style breakfast. The room was spacious and the bathroom too. There were enough amenities and free drinks, which was convenient.

The room did not have a chair or a proper desk to work. No power outlet close to the bet. The bathroom and the bathtubs had spots, cleaning them would have been nice.

Very old ,not clean ,Have smoke smell and can't room

Booked because it was in a convenient area with parking but the was the only plus.

The hotel was very old and dated, there was a strong smell of smoke as soon as we walked in. I'm sensitive to smells and it gave me a headache. Our room was non-smoking but smelled like smoke still. We actually left and went to another hotel instead.

Great spot, close to everything, comfortable bed, came with bath, staff were lovely, room had Netflix

Breakfast was good traditional Japanese meal. Room was enormous and very plush.

Quite a surprise to find a pink velvet room with electronics reflecting its former life as a love hotel. If you can get past that it is very good value tho.

Breakfast adequate, rooms spacious ,strange quirky lay out . Free drinks offered coffee tea highball for those who like that .

Bit worn down the exterior .

The room is so so big.Bathing in the bathtub is very comfortable.All staff were very courteous and helpful.They also offer free drinks and breakfast.

A few details. I noticed that their carpets were not handled properly and there were safety issues. On the first day of breakfast, I saw rotten cherry tomatoes.

Breakfast is good with a number of choices (including curry rice). Location is walking distance from a number of good ramen restaurants. Free parking is also available.

The hotel is rather old and the layout of our room is quite unusual (an irregular hexagon shaped room). Staff at the reception could not understand any English so communication was rather difficult.

Value for money, free parking, near downtown. Huge room. inclusive Breakfast, alcoholic drinks etc
