R Hotels Inn Hokkaido Asahikawa

Location, parking garage, outstanding breakfast!

Nice staff.

My room is a bit small but still ok. I had a big luggage and just ok to fully open it.

The staff was very kind and friendly. We appreciate them giving my child a small goodie bag with indoor shoes his size, showing us the closest parking available because our car was too big for their Carousell, their smiles every time the lift stops at Level 2. The room was so much bigger than the other hotels we stayed in. It was a funny mesh of hard bed and memory foam pillow. We liked the latter more than the former.

Omg. The smoke in the level 1 lift waiting area was so bad... we didn't even dare to go used the washing machine because it was on a smoking level. The ventilation in the toilet somehow has a smoke odour that would leak to the room when the toilet door is open. The smoke scent in the toiletries were not our favourite too.

location

no provide parking for high car and not clean room after we have go out

Very helpful front staff. They kept our bags before check-in as we went around the city to do things. They even put them in our room for us as we returned a bit later then expected. The room was quite small but big enough for sleeping, clean and comfortable. Very close to the train station and bus center. Good value.

The hotel was very cosy, clean and perfectly located a few minutes walk from central train and bus stations. The room was very small but had everything you might need, very practical and comfy.Unlike what we read on former reviews, there was an ac that worked perfectly

The mattress was very hard

I stayed in twin room, the size of bed is larger than standard single bed in Japan which is great. This is probably the only positive side of this hotel. There's a renowned ramen restaurant nearby, a good option for breakfast/lunch.

Easily see mold on bathroom walls (see photos), doesn't feel a pleasent experience in this hotel. The receiptionist do not speak English at all.

Friendly. Arcade games in lobby were fun. Coffee machine in lobby is a definite plus. Laundry machines!

Toilet had some problems. Hallway looked like a war zone starting at 10 am in the morning, an hour before checkout.

Location is great, near JR Asahikawa station. There are lots of restaurants, bars, shops and convenient stores. The price is reasonable for the location and room size (we choose a bigger room with space to open up two 29 inch luggage entirely).

Facilities were slightly dated, but did not bother us.

Location is very good. The hotel is close to Asahikawa station. The staffs are all very kind.

No, everything is ok.

A bit worn hotel in central Asahikawa, well located and good single rooms.

Some uncleaned spots and need for renovation, and the room was too hot so had to keep a window open

clean, great location & staff was super friendly & helpful!

the room is quiet small for the family of 4. but it’s ok because we only stay for 1 night.

Staff and room are nice. Close to the main station too.

Beds were shaking a lot (not high quality bed).

Very convenient location, right next to the shopping walkway leading to the station (the walkway is also part of the Winter Festival).Friendly staff.Smooth check-in and check-out process.

The room and especially the bath was not very clean. There was a strong smell in the corridors and the elevator. The bathroom was way too small, even for Japanese standards. I was practically unable to move. The wifi connection speed was very poor.I was unable to charge my devices in the room (even though it worked in other hotels).

The breakfast buffet here is amazing, including ramen, icecream and sashimi to make your own Kaisen-don! Room was pretty spacious and it’s conveniently located near tons of Ramen places and Izakayas. Also after I made a mistake with the booking dates they made it easy to add another day.

Good facilities,good staff

Best bed until now. Very comfortable

The fact that the window didn't open

The room was a bit cold, but nothing to worry about too much.

Very comfortable and a good location in Asahikawa. Enjoyed our stay!

Very accomodating staff
