9C Hotel Asahikawa

Despite being a "hostel", you get your own room. Free breakfast (simple but fresh and good). Close (4 min) walk to the JR Train Station.

Good location near train station and main shopping street. Easy parking at the paid multi-level lot behind the hotel. Good variety of breakfast foods. Clean rooms that are small but make good use of space. Good value. Lovely staff. Overall a good stay.

Rooms are quite small, especially for two people. Long waits for elevator from lobby, especially at peak times when buses or trains arrived. It would've been nice to have an option to take the stairs or to have more elevators in place.

Location is great, right next to the train station. This was important as I travelled during winter, so I did not need to lug my suitcase through the snow. There is a pillow "library" as well that you can use. Onsen was a bit small though.

The Hotel is located a few steps away from JR Asahikawa Station (you can say it’s in the Station). The Hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was very spacious for the unbelievably low price I that I paid. There is a Lawson near the hotel in addition to the 7-Eleven inside the station. Asahikawa Station in itself is very interesting as it is connected to a big Aeon Mall with many shops, restaurants, a spacious food court, cafes, a huge Supermarket that closes a bit late, and a Cinema. The main bus terminal is located next to the hotel with buses going to Asahiyama Zoo, New Chitose Airport, and Asahikawa Airport, among other places.

Parking was difficult to find, its at the back side of the hotel bit far and it’s for an extra pay

The location is very nice if you want to stay close to the station and also there's a nice mall close by where you can eat or do some shopping. The onsen was also nice.

The location is right next to the train and bus station and makes it easy to get around using public transport.Shopping mall is across the street. The hotel is comfortable with a good variety of breakfast.

Great location, great facilities (the onsen is amazing). The staff went above and Beyond over the time of our stay in Asahikawa. Super impressed.

Location is the best in Asahikawa for travellers. Right at the station for trains to the rest of Hokkaido and the bus station to the airport and to ski at Kamui. Also the large shopping mall at the station has lots of restaurants and a food hall so no need to walk the streets in the cold.

I could not get into the onsen at one point as the door would not open and the instructions for opening it with the key pad did not work.

Right next to Asahikawa station. A shopping centre and food court on the other side of the station. Toyota rent a car is across the road. Room is good size. Still have enough walking space when 2 large suitcases opened.

It was literally right next to the station (you didn’t have to cross the street!!!) and it had an onsen that you could use all night- also you had a courtesy soft drink. Really comfortable !!!

This hotel is just by the bus and the train station, which is convenient for going to the zoo and other cities. There is a public bath and a nice area to hang out, rest, and drink some coffee by the reception. The room is bigger than I expected and great value for money. The breakfast was also really good. We really enjoyed the stay and can fully recommend it!

Great location, friendly staff, amazing view on the Train Station square. There's also a manga corner where you can read manga and enjoy free soft drink.

Aircon system is a bit old and it often made loud noise at night.

Big room at good location. If you are driving, park at Times Tsuruha nearby and paid at the hotel
