Pros +
- The staff are nice and helpful
- Never stay in this hotel even price is low
- Good location and cheap. I was on a cycling trip and didn’t want to have to travel farther than Sounkyo Onsen. All the nicer hotels were booked. So I booked here but then paid for a day pass to use the Onsen at one of the nicer hotels. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of the River. Room was spacious. Staff was nice.
Cons -
- The room was dirty all over. Bathroom smelled like amonia, wierd stains on the floor and walls. Itched all night.
- No aircon in room. Staff not friendly despite I could speak Japanese to them.
- Old building. Breakfast wasn’t very good.
