Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Asahikawa-Eki Higashi-Guchi

It's a functional, clean and friendly hotel. Parking is easy and walking to the new AEON mall within distance.

Walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and skiing. It was very clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Nothing to dislike.

It’s very walkable from the Asahikawa train station. Free breakfast. We managed to leave our luggage in the lobby after checkout to visit the Asahiyama Zoo before returning to collect them.

We booked for 2 adults and a child but we only got 2 pillows and 2 towels.

I like its location, just walking distance from Asahikawa Station and lots of restaurants and kombinis nearby. The receptionists were kind and very helpful. I was surprised that the room was kinda big for a solo traveller like me and everything was so clean. There is a variety of food on their free breakfast too, so delicious

No stairs to walk up/down just one floor from /to Reception area. Had to wait a while for the lift.

We booked a superior to get the extra size. Breakfast average. A budget hotel which met expectations. However we were confused as there are two Toyoko hotels in this town and we went to the wrong one first!

The AC in the room seems not working well, is pretty hot in the summer night.

Location: near to train station and Aeon mall. Free breakfast with good spread. Private parking that need to pay yen800 per day.

5 min walk from Asahikawa Station, decent room size for Japan, free breakfast and it as a hearty meal. It has all the necessary amenities. Staff is friendly. No housekeeping but there is fresh towel every day.

It's minutes away from the station, making it ideal to catch an early train.The free breakfast had a good number of dish options.

As for many if not most business hotels in Japan, the room smelled of cigarettes, but for some reason it felt to me like it was particularly bad this time, especially as I woke up in the middle of the night and had to open the window (in the middle of winter mind you) to get fresh air.

Full amenity, I dare say you could bring just your clothes and they have the rest, incuding pajamas and breakfast for everyone.

Just that communication with staff is a bit difficult, but they are super nice anyway.

Location was great: close to the station, cinema and downtown. There was a great yaki-niku restaurant close by. Very convenient.

Breakfast could have been better. I'd have liked to see more western-style breakfast foods (bacon and eggs, hash browns, cereal, yogurt, fruit).

I liked how clean and well-maintained the property was, and the location was very convenient. It made my stay comfortable and stress-free.
