Jr Inn Asahikawa

location location location!! It's connected to Asahikawa Station and Aeon is right downstairs! Super convenient for family with small children in hard winter. Also the view is awesome! We love the onsen.

We had two non-smoking rooms. One room was excellent. The other room had the cigarette smell for a short while (5-10 min) and it was gone.

Very nice hotel. Modern, comfortable and convenient.

Internet was kind of slow. The 10 AM check-out time seems a bit too much.

Location is great & convenient as it's connected to AEON Mall

The fire alarm was triggered, and the first announcement through the PA system was in Japanese which we do not understand. Hence, we called the reception trying to find out what happen, but the receptionist was not even aware that there was fire in the hotel. Fortunately, we found out that the small fire is put out in the second announcement and this time the announcer tried to deliver the speech in half broken English, we were glad that the fire had been extinguished.

Great location and great public bath for a very reasonable price.

Someone was smoking in our room before. We could smell it in the bathroom.

Staffs are helpful and able to communicate in English.

During room servicing days no mineral water replenish.

Proximity to JR train station, connected to Aeon mall for food and shopping.

Room is dated, staff were not very friendly.

The hotel is connected to Aeon Mall. When driving to the hotel, I input Asahikawa Train Station as destination so that I can make left turn into the parking structure. I don't think you can make right turn into the parking structure. The hotel was very inexpensive considering the location that was so convenient, friendly and helpful staff, clean and functional room facilitities and proximity to Aeon Mall with food court.

Nothing at all

Spacious and clean room. Big bathroom and separate toilet is great. Hotel is quite new. Next to train and shopping mall. Great for buying snacks and some shopping.

Quality of breakfast. A lot of variety but have tasted better ones at similar star hotels. It’s not bad but not the greatest

The hotel staff is supportive during my stay. The room is also nice with the toiletries I need. The location is superb!!

Conveniently located next to/on top of a shopping mall and JR train station. Also had a lovely onsen and plenty of amenities. Would highly recommend.

The onsen water temperature was a bit cool for me personally but I understand that hotels do not want to scald their guests. It was still nice to have the onsen and be able to watch the snow fall from inside of the onsen.

Excellent location right at the train station, spacious rooms for a Japan downtown location, stable wifi with good signal in the room, lounge area with free drinks and coworking space, staff has decent English level

Beds are a bit too short for a 1,91m guy. Breakfast buffet (provided by the next door restaurant) was good but a bit underwhelming

Excellent location in the trail station and right in the mall. Grocery store just below it as well as many restaurants. Very nice simple rooms. Did not go to the public bath. Breakfast is in the buffet restaurant in the mall.

All was good.

Front desk staff tiny bit unfriendly

The location was amazing, we arrived by train and found sounds directing us to the property in the train station. We were able to shop, eat, watch a movie, and catch the bus all within a few hundred yards of our room, and it was a quick walk to explore more of Asahikawa. We also enjoyed the onsen- easy to access, not crowded, great views!

Right beside the train station. Room was spacious; amenities were new, and everything was very clean. The receptionist knew me by name right away, perhaps because I was the last one to check in at midnight. I had a really good, restful and comfortable sleep in this hotel.

Finding the entrance at midnight was a bit confusing (there was another lighted area which looked like an entrance).
