    Pros +

    • location, close by train/bus station to/from airport, ski resort. Short walk to shopping, supermarket, drugstore, restaurant. Have in house Onsen. Provided variety of amenities.
    • The public bath was nice and roomy. The room was fairly clean and the lobby welcome drinks were enjoyable. The location is hard to beat as well.
    • Onsen and Sauna room are Great. They prepared some outfit for wearing to there.

    Cons -

    • Too warm in room, cannot adjust temperature. Hotel provided electric fan but very soon all loan to others already. Then, window cannot open to allow fresh cool air in.
    • There were a few hairs that weren't mine that I had to wipe up.
    • The rooms could be updated. There are no direct USB plugs for charging. You can, however borrow a plug from the front desk free of charge.

The hotel has an excellent geographical location. Shopping, dining, and transportation are all very convenient. The hotel has a large hot spring bath and well-equipped facilities.

Nice hotel. Definitely outdated but that feels like part of the charm. Room was nice but bathroom was overly humid and the room did not feel 100% clean. Lovely staff and fabulous location

The breakfast buffet with a view over the city was the highlight of my stay! The room was comfortable and at a higher floor too, so the view was great as well. There was enough space for a desk and a small bathtub in the bathroom, so I'd say for Japanese standards the room was spacious. The Onsen is a great addition. The hotel's location is very central, close to the railway station and shopping street as well as to some nice restaurants.

I have stayed here many times. The hotel itself is older, and the rooms could use renovating, but overall its proximity to the station and local shops/restaurants is excellent. It is also convenient in that it has two restaurants and a dining bar (highly recommend) on-site. Of course, the crown jewel is the hot spring bathing facilities. Also, every conceivable amenity is provided in the lobby. (razor, gels, etc.) 11 o'clock checkout is also fairly uncommon here in Japan.

The rooms could be updated. There are no direct USB plugs for charging. You can, however borrow a plug from the front desk free of charge.

    Breakfast is excellent.

The parking is not free for big car. And we didn’t know this information before booking . Some staffs was unhelpful.

We loved breakfasts and the onsen. I think, having breakfast on the 14th floor with mountain views, tasting all the Hokkaido local products of the highest quality, what would you like to change for?:) The onsen area was also fine, unwinding. The room pretty small but clean. Generally, I think it is a nice place to stay in Asahikawa, close to the station and still quiet.

We had a view from our room onto the parking lots wall. Made the room always dark and claustrophobic.

Close to AEON mall where there is plenty of shopping, food choices and a supermarket.

The room was old and very small for 2 adults and a child, the bathroom is almost a foot high to step up so it is a bit dangerous, and has an musty odor. They clean the room only once every two days and didn’t remove the rubbish or the used towels. New towels were left outside the room door. I paid to upgrade to queen size bed but still felt it was very crowded as the bed is in a tight corner. The bed was hard and pillows were flat, showering in the Onsen is probably better than using the bathroom tub, but it was crowded. Staff could not understand much, if any, English.

Very near to train station, shopping & supermarket & beside the Asahikawa Winter Sculpture Competition. Provided free refreshment at the lobby with simple snacks too. The inhouse Onsen is fabulous & clean too. Comfortable bed & secure environment.

Was surprisingly shock when a female masseur walked past the male Onsen as beside it is the massage corner. Should put up notice to advice us that it is common for female masseur to walk into the male Onsen.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the Asahikawa Station. The rooms are large and well equipped. The hotel onsen is a class over other, with mutiple baths at different temperatures and even a bubble pool.

While clean and comfortable, the hotel shows its age, especially the onsen where some things, while fully functionnal, look a bit old and faded.

    6MastershifuPosted on: 3-3-2025

Breakfast was rich and the onsen area confortable, staff quite kind and helpful.

Room are small, with noisy refrigerator. The women onsen much smaller than men's.

    7HelenPosted on: 3-2-2025

Great location, warm, and you could open the windows, which is not always the case in this type of hotel. During one night, I had some sort of motor noise in my room, and staff not only actually believed me, or at least pretended to, but were very helpful in getting rid of the noise, and offered me an alternative room if the problem was not resolved– great service!

The actual room was over furnished, and I would not choose the cheapest room available, as the window looks directly onto the opposing wall of another building.

Good location and walkable to aoen mall

Super hot due to insulated rooms but they provided small fans

    Room very small

10mins walking distance from JR station and Aeon Mall, and there is Onsen in the hotel. Breakfast is located on the highest floor which you can have a panoramic view of the city - fantastic!

I wish that the Onsen operation time could be longer, it closes too early :(

    8ChungPosted on: 2-15-2025

Nice Onsen, comfortable bed, good location. Car park clearance only 1.55m, so be aware if you’re driving.
